Wife Won't Have Sex...how To Handle It? Any Comments Ladies?

My wife says she is too dry and sore to have sex anymore. I am not sure how to handle that. She doesn't like oral very much but will give me oral once in a while.

How do I tell her I need sex? I think about sex all the time now. I would love to have a womans perspective on this.

I can empathize... at 50 my wife pretty much just started turning me down. When I talked to her she complained of my "one move" basically putting it all on me. You've got to romance her after 50 years of age. Give her hugs and kisses, tell her how beautiful she is without bringing up the subject of sex. Actions speak louder than words and a woman needs and wants to be treated with love and respect. Cuddle with her while watching TV, do things for her without having to be asked. If her sex drive has diminished you must "jump start" it gestures and actions.

 

I have too many years experience in this.
My first wife, after having the two kids, her sex drive went down significantly.
We were having sex about once a week, and it was mechanical. It was basically her laying there waiting on me to finish. It was awful. And i tried all kinds of things to make it better, including the wine and dining. It didn't work.
Once she broke 40 her sex drive went to zero. Zero. We did not have sex for over 10 years. And it is shockingly common among 45+ couples.
Some women just flat out lose the desire. Period. No amount of affection or anything else will change it. Talked to too many other guys over the years who had the same experience.
After the kids finished college, I left. We divorced. I have since remarried and sex with my 2nd wife is awesome.
