You don't type like you are 35.... just sayin....more like early 20's or younger. But if true, her saying "I won't stop you from leaving" - is slang for "I want you to leave". I think a 35 year old would know that.
At 35 what were you doing with a 23 yr old? And you say religious beliefs, so she was some naive girl in your church group or something. You, your parents, her parents, combination of all 5 of you pressured her into marrying you. A couple years later she grew up a little bit, worked out this is bullshit
Respectfully, both of you need to man/woman up. Communication is key and appears to be lost in translation between the two of you.
