I've been tracking a package that I ordered. It comes from Mississauga, Ontario (some of you may know which vendor this is) which is right by Toronto. Now due to the location the most direct route would be to go straight to New York since there this is a customs point and everything and is much more direct and would get to me much quicker. Instead it says that the package is in Chicago, which seems like quite a long detour since Mississauga is closer to New York, than it is to Chicago and the package is going to New York anyway. New York is only slightly closer to Mississauga than Chicago is, but since now it has to come from Chicago to New York anyway that's like double the distance. Do they not think about this or do the just look at the destination country and randomly decide where they're gonna go thru customs because sometimes the packages do go thru customs in New York, other times they go thru Chicago? I've been tracking this shit like every hour, even tho I have automatic email updates. I hate waiting on packages. Also, I heard somewhere that packages from Canada to USA or vice versa don't get inspected the way other international packages do when they go thru customs but I have no idea if this is actually true or not?
Sometimes Canada post fucks up. I mailed a jar of weed to a friend one time and it accidentally went to Winnipeg instead of Halifax. It happens lol.
It says it departed the Chicago sort facility today, sometime this morning but it doesn't list a time. It only says it was processed at 4 something AM this morning so I assume that means its on its way. I don't like the uncertainty. I assume they're flying it?
There are a whole lot of things that go into scheduling routes, much more than what appears to be the most direct route. One of the coolest things I have heard about concerning this is a computer program that mimicks the behavior of ants and how they determine the most direct and efficient route to and from a food source. They massage it a little and input truck/plane/bus routes and the program does it's thing and determines the most cost efficient route, which isn't always what looks like the most direct route. I first saw it in a documentary about leaf cutter ants.
It's really stupid… I bought something on ebay from a vendor in Brooklyn…the package was sent via USPS… it went upstate for a day then back down to me in Murray Hill. Dumb, right?
packages in the mail do this. you are doing it wrong. when making an order of this nature...pretend that you've completely forgotten about it. then one day it shows up in your box and you're pleasantly surprised. if you spend every hour tracking it, you WILL find a reason to be nervous. just relax. making threads in the synthetic drug section labeled USPS doesn't really help and might show weird stuff in a google search....
oh shit ur right. now I"m paranoid. Is there no way to change a thread title? err maybe it shouldn't be in synth drugs cuz it obviously has nothing to do with that
They can also see how much somebody is tracking their package. A guy being sent drugs, who posts on the internet about being sent drugs, and even where the drugs are coming from, and where he lives, and then checks the tracking every hour . . . very nice set of footprints you've handed to law enforcement on a plate what do vendors in mississauga sell?
No not at all. They still pass through the same customs including drug dogs. But is is not uncommon for the two country's to exchange mail. Customs can not check everything. And I can confirm the Canadian post service can be disorganized at times. I don't know what you ordered but Canada is known for some types of drugs. I have gotten mail from there but the US is aware of this reputation. It is safer then ordering from over seas. But if your package is discovered do not sign for anything, you have no idea what this is, you didn't order anything from Canada right?
i lol at this, I usually dont check it at all.. sometimes I do the first time it left, but dont really bother after that. i often assumed the same thing. data footprints yeap..
Are you guys fuckin serious? They look at how much you track it and if the person tracks it too much "it must be something good". I would like to think that as many packages that come into/go out of this country that a whole lot more would be needed to correlate. I would never sign for shit cuz I know the vendor and that's not how it usually goes down. If they wanted me to sign for something, then it's obviously a mistake and that package belongs to someone else which I have no rights too...cuz thatd be wrong. This vendor obides by all national and international laws anyway, no laws broken here except maybe the part about no batteries in the mail. I'm not sure if batteries are included or not.
when I send drugs I just put regular stamps, dont put any correct names and drop it off at the mailbox..not that I would ever do such a thing
odds are your package isn't the only package in the country... they probably send it where is most convenient, maybe there are a lot of packages needing to go around Chicago and so they sent yours along with it on the same truck or whatever the use..
my bro works at customs. He said sometimes they let something illegal through if it's small but then it's entered on the system and they keep tabs on that address. If more and more comes through then they act. So you could be busted and not even know about it. I decided it's not worth the risk (batteries included or not).
^ Australia has some tough customs. Most vendors I know of don't even bother because it takes forever to get there and they are strict. North America and Europe are much easier.
