Why won't acid work for me?

maybe they were...maybe they wern't...point of this whole discussion: dont give up hope thread starter. Try it a few more times before you rule it out.

 

Lol,i see my first mistake,i did keep my first hit in my wallet(now i know not to do that anymore),it was wrapped in foil though. My other two were wrapped in foil too,i kept those in my pockets for about an hour after i got them then took them when i got home(both on different days). At least the E in my area is very trippy,so i do get to trip...

I came across someone selling 2cb as xtc once. They had no idea the jackpot they had in their hands. I talked them down a considerable amount and bought about 30 pills. Was the most wonderful find ever. I wish I could be that lucky again.

It could be the serotonin levels in your brain, or you just have poor luck cuz tripping rocks.

 

Haha,yea,I've tripped once properly before. During a hippy flip session. Smurf running on the ceiling fan,dumbo the elephant flying in the trees. Monkeys in the clouds,clouds making out with each other. I was on my roof for so many hours. Never had so much fun staring at the clouds,just so many visuals with soooo much detail,i just couldn't believe it. I just wish acid could just work for me!!!

LSD has no action on serotonin levels. It doesnt cause a rise or fall in the amount of serotnin, in merely binds to the receptors. So if this hypothesis were true, in order to be 'immune' he would hvae to have no serotonin receptors...which i HIGHLY doubt is the case.

 

That's pretty sweet, have you ever had 2ce? It can be just as intense as acid...exponentially better than 2cb. 2ce, visually, is the closest thing to LSD ive ever had...the head fuck is alot easier to handle. I dont think i could have a bad 2ce trip, and ive tripped very hard off it before. it seems to produce a more positive energy during the peak, as opposed to good acid, which can produce strong anxiety.

 

my friend picked up an ounce of 5-methoxy-diisopropyltryptamine [aka foxy], and that shit was pretty trippy. he always had to eyeball the amount since he didnt have a scale that could weigh out millagrams. the trip was very similar to LSD, only with a great body high. and i mean the acid body high, not an e body high.

too bad everyone else that tried it threw up at some point of the trip. fortunatly my stomach is made out of steel when it comes to substances. but alcohol is another story...

'Omg THE COLORS' is what comes to mind when I think about 2ce. That had to have been one of the most colorful trips i've ever had. I love that stuff, It's rarer to find than acid around here. If I could find a good RC source, I would buy it online!

I didn't think psychedelics would ever really show someone visuals like that. Was there really, quite literally, an actual flying elephant? At least, that you were seeing?

 

It was the way the leaves were formed and the way the wind was blowing that it looked like dumbo the elephant flying in the trees...the animated version...a small elephant flapping It's ears to fly...hard to explain properly though...

 

no, i think i understand. once when i was peeking i was on a porch and there was a huge tree right across from me and i could see the face of a buddha or something in it, in the same way. it seems a little silly now when i think about it, but it must have been pretty profound that night
