why the **** are people getting married so early nowadays

    I was married a month shy of turning 22. Bill was 27. I don't regret marrying him so young. Sometimes I wish I had lived a little more and done a few more things with him before children but no regrets.

    10 years later we are happier than we were when we married.

    People are getting married later then ever before so I'm not sure what you are talking about.

    based upon what I've read, statistically I thought the opposite was true, at least that's the case in New England anyhow. The average age for first marriage here is about eight years older than it was 30 years ago. Something like 27 for a woman and 29 for a man as opposed to 19 and 21 then.
