I don't get it man, I must've stepped into a wormhole that brought me through the space-time continuum and landed me in a alternate universe. Firstly, is this actually a hippie site, or is it a hipster site? Because it seems like everyone here is just very prone to argue.

Listen bro, no matter what you think of me in any other subject matter, trust me on this; I was not directing that comment at you in any way at all. I know what was going on in my head and it was just an angry rant that was not directed to anyone.

Part of your dismay and frustration here is that you joined under the assumption that ALL the members were "hippies" and in your mind would of course agree with you seeing that you identify yourself as a hippie.

Also funny how if people agree with one another on a topic it's a "conversation" but if they disagree it's an argument.

Dude the kid got mad at me for saying "We follow like sheep." That's a simile. He just took it offensively. Yeah I think it would be a boring world if everyone agreed with me, but I think it'd be a much better world if people we're more open minded about different ideas. Presidents have no control. Our government is corrupt. Most of our countrymen are brainwashed money grabbers. The american dream now resides in china. Ron paul is the only person in this election that stands for our REPUBLIC. I don't see any way shape or form that he was talking down to anyone in particular. If you took offense maybe you should take a look at yourself. And yes, I see way more hipster than hippie here so far. And excuse us for thinking that a website for hippies has hippies on it. WOW. Please show me where it is stated that Hip Forums is a "website for hippies".
All I see is that it's a free speech forum, open to any and all.
I'll bet there are less members who identify themselves as hippies here than just normal shmucks like myself who choose not to be labeled and pigeon- holed into some erroneous and antiquated stereotype.

Now the site owner was/is a traditional hippie and thus built the site around his personal ideals, which is great. But nowhere is it stated this is a "website for hippies".
