LOL! Someone recently said that not wearing a mask because you probably won't get the virus is like not looking before crossing the street because you probably won't get run over.

 

We should NOT be forced to wear a mask.

Force the population to build their immune systems to keep strong and healthy....never hear this from the big wigs....Vit C and Vit D are PRETTY inexpensive protection....

 

I don't think people should be forced to wear them but I do think it's rather foolish to take a chance.
Also, it's thoughtless.
Some people get it and remain asymptomatic. This is more likely to happen without protection.
Then you may infect Grandma or another at risk loved one.

 

You should wear one because you have empathy for others... It should not need to be forced.

But some people just don't care about any of that.

 

I take CARE of my health and everyone else should as well. I should NOT have to wear a mask to protect others....plain and simple. I've never had one on. And may have to when I see my MD in Dec....but I'll borrow a friend's. I'm not out much for starters and around my apt bldg no mask for this ole 82 yr kid.

I prefer to support Big Supplements vs Big Pharma, and because I do, no colds, flu, vaccines in 30-40 yrs....thank you very much.....

But you should WANT to.
For the sake of being unselfish and compassionate.

 

Most doctors will supply you with one.

 

I don't want to....but if I was out and shopping I'd be forced or they would not allow me in the stores....that's what I hear. And probably when I see my doc which is once a year, I'll most likely have to bring a mask.

People need to be responsible for their own health...supplementing is pennies a day...I started 30 yrs ago.

 

Oh I'll ask that ?? when I call for my Dec once a yr check in appt.

 

What's the difference between the government making it a law to wear masks and the law to wear seatbelts? I'm risking a lot fewer 'other' lives by not wearing a seatbelt. But I guess this is more like the law, in most states, against texting and driving or drinking and driving. It's not about YOU, it's about consideration to others.

 

Didn't seatbelt laws go thru a system in the govt....is that how masks went too...all the people slapped with $$$ fines, how are they going to pay, no jobs....sickening all of it..

Think of it like a dress code. No shirt, no shoes, no mask, no service. You can't go grocery shopping with no shirt because the company has set a policy and society has agreed on what is polite. If you insist on being shirtless you will have to use the freedom of America to find food someplace else.

Vitamin C does not work against a novel virus. It's helpful to have a strong immune system if you want to survive, but virus work because the immune system can not recognize it. It has to learn. Vaccines work because the body learns. If you catch it without a vaccine you better learn fast. Sometimes it can't learn in time and you die. They ate a lot of Vitamin C and D in the Middle Ages but people still died of the plague. Nature evolves and humans just have to wait too. Something like that has not been seen in a long time. Just because it does not kill as many as the plague don't underestimate it. We are lucky it kills less.

It did after doctors and scientific studies informed the goverment of the need for seat belt laws. Kind of like the doctors and scientists telling us things now. This time the government has politicized people's safety. America didn't win the Cold War by ignoring intelligence.

 

That doesn't give you the right to spread a disease to those that you have determined "don't take care of their health"... You do know you can be a carrier even though you don't have symptoms, right?
