why isnt the internet free!!!

you think they do it for free?

they have costs. lots of newspapers are going out of business or being bought up by hte larger companies, which allows them to handle costs of a dinky little paper as the free daily newspaper you may pick up.

 

just servers and wires........and no fiber optic cables, submarine fiber optic cables, microwave radio backbones, electricity, backup battery systems, routers, switches, cache engines, twisted pair copper cables, rights of ways for said cables, no NOCC, no technicians, no tech support lines, no building entry modules, no diagnostic test equipment, no DSLAMs, no SONET, no climate control systems, no cable modems, no wire management systems, no tools, no training, no engineering...no nothing..........just servers and wires.
