As to your closeness to Christ, only you and He can confirm that. The notion of 'proving your involvement under investigation' is meaningless. You don't have to prove anything to me, and frankly. I doubt very much you could anyway.

As to the 'wisdom' you 'freely offer', I see no sign of it in your posts. You just seem to be trying to say how wise and enlightened you are. I don't really care much about your ego - to say you don't have one is simply absurd.

I don't judge you - I judge the stuff you post here. I know little about you, and frankly, given your attitude. don't really care to know much.
As to Crowley, yes, he thought Blake ok, but was much more a Shelleyan.
I don't think he was a great lover of Jesus.

As to Crowley - I actually know a considerable amount about him. I don't say that because I take pride in the knowledge, as you so obviously do, but as a matter of fact.
Crowley sought to abolish Christianity and replace it with his cult of Thelema, he said that the historic epoch within which Christianity had value ended in 1904. In his 'Book of the Law' it says " With my hawk's head I peck at the eyes of Jesus as he hangs upon the cross' - That is hardly fostering love of Jesus. And to anyone with even a slight aquaintance with Crowley's work, it soon becomes obvious that he was pretty much against Christianity.

One further point - I have never said in these forums that I am a Christian - and in fact, I'm not. I'm just interested and sympathetic. Do you hate Blake too because he was a Christian?

It is sad that you feel as you do. Very sad. Because your own egotism is blind, and can only serve to distance you from others, from God and from your own inner self. The intensisty of the egoism I detect in your posts is very clearly shown in everything you say. If you didn't have an ego, it wouldn't matter to you what others said - there would BE no others.

 

Umm...wow....in regards to the original intent of this post....

I like to think of Mary Magdalene as an apostle...I know it isn't taught that she is one (most def. because she was a woman...as much as I love ancient history...wow did women get treated rotten)...but I think she was just as deserving of the title as the others....hell Judas was an apostle (well not in the end...but you know what I mean)...is she not because she wasn't in the room during the Pentacost? I don't know....but regardless of what was said in scripture (at least the scripture I know)...I think that she was one...

 

She is an apostle. We guys just like to say she wasn't to piss women off. Of course, this is the only time in history that a man will admit to teasing women. Ohh yeah, remember to submit to your husband...
