posting a heavily biased article doesnt prove your point at all... anyone can post something they didnt write and use that as something to uphold their own beliefs...

Like I said you dont understand my beliefs at all so who are you to judge them or me? Let it go.. you arent going to convert me or change my mind no matter ho w hard you try, and probably same goes for me... so let let let let it go.

People like this make me lose my faith in humanity... whatever is left of it...

    Sounds good to me.

The main difference is that the majority of Muslims (at least tacitly) support extremist acts, whereas it's relatively rare among other religions. While Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson may provide some comic relief by blaming feminists for 9/11 or by declaring Spongebob Squarepants is gay, even these fringe elements of Christianity aren't calling for all Christians to strap bombs to themselves and kill as many innocent people as possible.

I agree that all dogmatic religions are a bit ridiculous in terms of logic, but Islam is the only one that is predominantly controlled by dangerous extremists.

i wasnt saying anything against that... i know that there are some muslims that are like that... and those extremists can be more dangerous than christian extremists.. but to say that most of them are like that is childish and stupid... thats t he only problem I have... and there are christian extremists who are similar to those insane muslim extremists and call for violence, but those people arent listened to because everyone knows they are going against the teachings of the bible by doing that... t hats the difference... but a lot of muslims dont want to have anything to do with those crazy extremists and I hate to see people lump them all into the same group.

That's not true, although many Americans believe that because they generally only see the violent acts through the media.

I think all the jesus stuff made skycanvas lose credibility. I don't understand your logic (or lack of) in the story with atheists and the mods and whatevs.
BUT While I can't stand any form of proselytism I can see that Islam as a "barbarous violence" level much higher than with other religions. It is also incredibly backwards, they're still in the 6th century. People (imams?) who try to reform Islam are murdered.
I don't care if they're too stupid to understand but we're in the 21th century.
I've never heard of a christian with a bomb belt or flag-burning christians because there are too much heathens. Christiannity and Judaism evolved, Islam didn't.
And I hate their damn veils, it's so ugly.
Have you ever looked at their culture ? There's nothing positive in it. Muslims kill people for it because it's packaged with the religion, I'm sure they don't really understand the value of culture. We can just get rid of it.

I just think mui is possessed by some form of demon, a demon that insulate people from the truth. He need to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior and everything will become clear. :D

When I say most Muslims are like that, I don't mean to lump ALL Muslims into a single category or imply that they all have the same ideology. While I hate to say "a majority of (insert religion or ethnic group) are (insert negative characteristic)" because I don't mean to sound racist or ethnocentric, there are instances when it is simply the truth. In addition to the actual terrorists and terrorist sympathizers are the people who simply turn a blind eye to it without the least bit of outrage. Sadly, this probably represents a majority of the world's Muslims.

What the Islamic world really needs is a Gandhi or a Martin Luther King...a strong voice to actively condemn terrorism and promote non-violent resistance. Ayatollah Ali Sistani (who in my opinion deserves the Nobel Peace Prize) might be able to fill the role.

What is credibility nowadays? Did NewsWipe have credibility when they printed that article that inflamed the savages? You either believe something or you don't see it.

Earlier you said that most Muslims support extremist activity, but now you're saying they don't speak out against it enough. Even if we agree a group is not being very vocal about scorning something, that doesn't mean they support it. Many fear retaliation for speaking out against extremist groups. It's good to have people such as MLK but he paid for his beliefs with his life. It's understandable why people would be afraid to speak out.

I think we need to move away from these over-simplified explanations of the Muslim culture. No culture or religion is completely monolithic. There's a militant strain now in the Muslim world but it's oversimplified to write off most Muslims as being militant or to assume that most support militant activities because there doesn't to appear to be much vocal opposition to it.

Mutated strains are best dealt with by internal forces of organisms

My view is presently that mutated or invasive strains within the body politic are best able to dealt with like mutated or invasive strains within the human body, by the internal forces of that organism. Just like cancer, it is present in our cells, but is suppressed by the immune system until those forces are compromised & defeated & then it must be cut out from the outside, providing it is operable. But this treatment alone often kills the patient by harming other organs.

I think if Islam was a peaceful religion, they would today be very concerned about the violent image their mutated strains are generating for all of their followers worldwide.

As per the hecklers in the back row, there are plenty of people I would not want to spend an eternity with, let alone have to endure while I'm on Earth, so I'm not begging just any buffoon to step up to the next level, because they'd probably strike out or have already. Some people are just not neighbor material & I wouldn't even want to live in the same city with them. Anyway, prattlers know how to stand up for everything that they are against so well, just because there is nothing they are really for. So they are usually more successful at making fools out of themselves while imagining they are making fools of others.

Warning: If you are unable to laugh things off, you must be very religious!

Disclaimer: If You are a Bleeding-Heart Liberal, you are strongly advised to take an overdose of Ex-Lax before Reading & administer a thorough Colon Cleansing Afterwards. This is best taken on an empty stomach & you are advised to commence by reciting the alphabet backwards & chanting Bushisms to get into the moment.
