Why is it seen as girly to be barefoot on campus.

    I'm not sure where she got that idea. At my college, the guys did it at least as often as the girls.

    No one said anything about girly but I guess until you get past the first week without shoes when every ground imperfection is a tragedy you might have that 'girly' kind of walk like the tourists from up north who can hardly make it across the parking lot and its not even that rough at all.

    Nonsence !!! You have to build up to it and get to that point where you don't feel barefoot anymore and it feels normal. Takes at least a week after years of wearing shoes every day.

    One shot (one day) or one try is bad advice.

    What is it with school cafeterias?
    Every single article about going barefoot in schools or on campus mentions it's banned in the cafeteria.
    Like shoe bottoms are sanitary?
