In your opinion. But a lot of crap, i got mine because i like art and therefore keep them to myself. The term "yuppie" is outdated, get a new phrase.

I do have to admit, i have a soccer mom van.

I look funny sporting around in a Dodge Caravan,
but i got kids man!

i think that some people in this forum are not showing acceptance of everyone's opinions. if you don't like tattoos...there is nothing wrong with that and if you do well...there is nothing wrong with that either. there is no reason to get all upset just because someone disagreed with your own personal opinion. i can see both points of view and all that matters is that we can accept each other's ideas and beliefs. maybe you don't agree but you don't need to ridicule someone because of it.

 

I don't really see much ridiculing going on. Just people defending their position. Besides, if everyone just accepted everything as is, well, nothing would ever change for the better. Besides, all I really see here is a lot of discussion, some people have thrown out a few harsh words, but they get their just desserts, so it all works out nicely.

 

He explained he wasn't but it did get to be an interesting thread going once everyone settled down. Everyone has an opinion after all.

I started mine for the same reason, to cover three LARGE surgical scars. Fashion was never a consideration. For me, It was a way to feel better about my appearance, I mean, the scars were UGLY, painful memories. I find it kind of funny that my tats would make me less attractive to someone - they should have seen the scar tissue! But each to his own.

you get what ya pay for in everything, tattoos included. takes a lot of work, patience, equipment & practice to be a GOOD artist, ya want cheap - might as well do it yourself.
