Yes I did, and I would say if God forgave these men, it would be because He saw within them a changed heart. You can't fool God. Yet if Sera had here way, we might have everyone there, changed heart or not, and that is where I would have a problem with that. Only God, knows the truth of a mans heart.

 

is it really a changed heart though? or is it just acceptance of Jesus?As you say a person can be a christian and do really awful things yet still end up in heaven! so you can be a christian the whole of your life adn commit terrible crimes and live peaccefully in heaven?

The prophecies that were fulfilled by Christ will be found in the Old Testament. When I was about 16 years of age, I recall looking in the Old Testament and finding some of them. I recall how amazed I was when I actuall began to discover that they were really there. I did not know at the time, that there even was such a thing as prophecy, yet soon discovered that this was the very proof that the Bible was true. For the Book writes history before history happens. I believe if a man is born of God he will not do the terrible crimes that we so often see men do. Jesus said that no murder or adulter will enter the Kingdom of God. I blieve former murders, and former adulters, will. Heaven will be a place filled with people who tried to live for God in this life. Yet, none of us will of lived a perfect life. Yet, for those of us who love Christ, we will spend our life, working to be like Him.

 

but as man is born with sin, then thefore a man can do evil and still love Jesus, there has been murderers and rapist who have always being christians such as members of the Church. There are not many christians who try and be like Christ though, they don't share love, many of them have a negative view of life and support things such as war, death penalty etc, why are so many Christians republican in the US if they are trying to live like Jesus?

I don't support the death penalty for murders or babies. And the reason so many Christians are Republicans I believe has more to do with abortion. At last count America has allowed 50 million American children to be murdered by abortion. It is the Christian belief that only republicans will ever appoint judges that will stop the slaughter. Christ knows the difference between who is religious and who really loves Him. That's why Jesus said, many will worship me with there lips but their hearts are far from me. God knows who is on His side, and who is playing games. God states that many will come before Him in the day of judgement and say Lord, Lord, have we not done many wonderful things in your name and in your name have we not done many wonderful works? And the Jesus will say to them, depart from Me, I never knew you. When you are born into God's family you resist sin. No one will be perfect, yet murders and adulters may claim to be Christian, but God knows who they are, and what they are all about.

Sorry, but God lumps those sins together, and you will see this in Galatians chapter 5 verses 19,20,21. And before you tell anyone to take their head out of the sand, maybe you should consider the prophecies of the Bible. Because this Book is 3,000 years ahead of it's time. That's why it's prophecies are being fulfilled in the day we live. And the Jews are not back in Israel by accident. Ezekiel chapters 36,37,38,39. Gods got bigger plans for this world. Hope your on the right side of the fence.

 

i am sorry that is not going to fly on reasons to be republican and christian, i think being conservative is very un-christ like, and just because of one stand point that the Bible has nothing to say upon, the Bible does not say abortion is murder because it wasn't around when the book was written. Republicans support war, neoclassical economics etc, all are not close to how Jesus said to live. I believe right winged christian contradict their beliefs and faith.

Are you saying that if you take Jesus as the son of God and then murder, you may not really believe? What about when people have killed in the name of God, they truely believed and they did not resist sin.

Sera, your still beating a dead horse. This may be the third time I have told you this. When the Gate was closed, is of little importance. It could of been 500 years, 700 years or a thousand years. The prophecy in the Bible does not give a date. It only states that the Gate will be closed and there will be a time that it will not be opened until the Prince to come opens it. The Bible states that when it is finally closed, all attempts to open it will fail. I have read different sources and they differ on the time of the closeing. Yet the timing of it's closeing does not matter. The only thing that does matter, is the fact that the Gate was closed. And as the prophecy states the Gate will remain closed. As I have stated before, in 1917 and in 1967 Moslems tried to open the Gate and break the prophecy, they failed on both attempts. The Jews are back in Israel, and the prophecy is now in affect. The next and only person who will ever walk through that Gate will be the Prince to come, Jesus Christ. Sera, only God knew when the Gate would be finally sealed, for no date in Scripture was ever given.

 

I cannot justify everything that our nation does both Republican or Democrats because both parties are people who are flawed. However, there is a time of war, and a time of peace (Ecc. 3). War is not wrong when it is needed.

 

The Bible does adress abortion. In the Old Testament is the story of two men fighting. One of the men by acident struck a woman who was pregnant. As a result of this the woman lost her child. According to the text the man that was responsible for the loss of her child was ordered to pay the woman in some way to cover the loss of her child. The text points out that if the man refuses to pay, then his life would be required, and then states that it is a life for a life. The Bible clearly identifies that the loss of this child was equal to the mans life. If a man states he is born of God and then murders he is one who worshiped God with his lips, but his heart is far from God. And 50 million murders is not one small point. There is a time when you have to pick between the lesser of two evils. The present war has killed thousands, but the deaths there pale when you consider the 50 million we have murdered in this country. Americans have kill as many children then all the life lost during World War Two. In the Bible, God does not look kindly on nations that murder children. The prophecies about America in the Scriptures paint a very grim picture of what is going to happen to our nation.

 

well according to your thinking, these children will be better to have not to be born, because if they were born then (as most people) they will not accept christ in most cases so therefore they end up in hell. By saving them before birth you are sending the majority to hell. Me personally do not agree with abortion in most cases, and i havn't noticed abortion being outlawed with republicans in charge.

I would hardly call republicans the lesser of two evils, the republicans stand for things that are so so far from christ like. You could say that it is neoclassical economics has led to billions of deaths around the planet, but you do not rage about the system because of that, you rage on one topic of abortion. Why not look at the whole picture not a specific. That is one thing i will never understand, christians being conservative, its seems so un-christ like.

but when is war needed, i think war is not needed at the current sitaution but yet the iraq war still happened and people of faith supported it. i was speaking to my christian friend earlier and she could not understand how real christians could support such a war, she said it was hypocrisy, and i too believe it to be so. the present is a time for peace

Ok, so you are saying that all the opening and closing during the crusades doesn't count - even thouh Ezekiel swore no man but the Lord will pass though it? Why doesn't it count during the 11-16th centuries, but it would count if someone opened it now? How can you claim it is finally sealed now if only god knows - especially if you can claim it was sealed 1200 years ago, then in the year 1200? How come your story keeps changing?

AND not to mention a porch is a covered entrance to a building, not a building built overtop of an old gate. If I had a house in a city that was destroyed and a new building was built over it that new building WOULD NOT be the porch to my old, buried house. There is NO WAY you can twist the definition of a porch to fit what we are seeing here with the east gate.

So this is the fourth time you have changed your interpretation of the prophecy, what is it going to be with the next refutation?

Look, your accurate and amazing prophecy is falling apart and you have had to change the interpretation of the prophecy multiple times to get it to fit with reality. Give it up, and realize you gave us a crappy example for an accurate irrefutable prophecy.

 

I don't know if you ever watch the news, but under this present President late term abortions have been outlawed, and they are trying to get a second Surpream Court Justice on the bench who would be the tie breaker on the Abortion debate. The womans groups are all ready gearing up to try and stop his appointment. It is the Republicans who are supporting this nomination, and it is the Democrats that are already giving the thumbs down. And Bush has given more aid to Africa to stop the spread of Aids then any American President. It was the Republican party that ended slavery in the United States, and hopfully Republicans will stop abortion. The cornerstone of the Democratic party is Abortion Rights. They truly are the Party of Death. And Republican policies are not responsible for Billions of deaths. That is an over statement on your part, taking into account, that there are only 6 billion people on earth.
