The funny thing I found was that the longer I go without meat, the more it grosses me out when I do see it. It's like, "eeew.... dead flesh." I just see rotting bacteria laden flesh of an animal I would have liked and that probably suffered terribly; I don't want that suffering and disease in my body.
I eat meat because I fare well by it. Oh yeah, and it is tasty too. It's nature baby! Well, to a certain extend of course. That's why I am selective in my meat buying. Not only in quality but also in quantity. I think the best meateaters can do is limit their meat consumption. Everything tastes better in moderation anyway. And if we would do it all it would take away much of the burden the meat industry lays on the environment.
