Why Double Standard for Views on Dildo vs Fleshlight?

Why do women view a dude who uses a Fleshlight or pocket pussy as icky...but a woman who owns a dildo is hot...sexy?

 

I've heard comments that a fleshlight looks like a disembodied pussy and that despite what I've seen most women say their dildo or vibrator isn't shaped like a penis. I've heard women say a guy is a loser and women use toys because it helps them orgasm.

One woman was saying in so many words she would feel like her boyfriend was cheating on her and kinda like she would lose "influence" over him if he had a fleshlight.

 

I'd definitely prefer a woman not to use toys. To me, use of a vibrator or fleshlight for men isn't really masturbating.

 

For the same reason that a girl who has lots of sex is a “slut”, but a guy who has lots of sex is a “player”. Sexual double-standards that are sadly ingrained into western culture. Another example is guys finding lesbian sex to be ‘hot’, but finding gay sex to be gross. (Personally I’m not into girl-girl stuff.)

 

I love my toys and would never judge a guy that used a fleshlight to get off. I think people should do whatever they want with/to their own body to experience pleasure. I don't date men, but had a male friend confess to occasionally humping a pillow or sticking himself between couch cushions and going at it. To each his/her own, just warn me before I sit on your furniture.
