Why does rascism exist?

You presume to know how black people experience racism based on your own experience, which, if you're white, is closer to the fat guy who's picked on.

I certainly don't see you asking many open-response questions...

 

The same can be said about you, which is why I'm a little offended. Someone has already pointed out that you are in a higher class than they are, and I'm sure that is also true for me. I'm not wanting to compare pasts, but I can guarantee you I have experienced every indignity, threat, and cruelty because of my race that you have, or even what the majority of blacks may experience.
Which is exactly why I know racism isn't exclusive to whites, and I also know it isn't true that whites are never on the receiving end of it. Frankly, I feel that the attitude you have displayed actually contributes to racism against whites.

 

Racism just doesn't make sense. And with a lotta things that don't make sense, generally sensible people mentally butt up against it, trying to make sense out of senseless behavior and how people respond to it. Everyone's personal experience thus far seems valid and real to me, so I'm just let other people fight whatever battle they feel like fighting. I've got my own problems that apparently I'm unequipped to deal with.

This is why I don't make racism an exclusive thing.
I'm not asserting that whites are the race that is most threatened by racism, but it DOES happen. So in light of that, it's kind of stupid to define racism as something concocted by whites in order to manipulate society, when in fact it is a global occurrence that happens to every race, and that every race is guilty of.

So, anyway, all the suffering, poverty, abuse, struggle and degradations suffered my white people are not from racism, so white experience has no place in a discussion of racism except in regards to our perpetration of said acts of racism.
