Hi Jeremy, Thanks for stirring my brain. All I'm seeing on the telly is Tom Wolf. Guess he's the only one with enough money for television time. He's ads are on frequently in the Philly area. I just checked, "Dem candidates governor." Yea, there's a whole bunch of them. Agree, one issue, MJ, is not the way to get my vote. Guess I'm gonna have to pay a lot more attention and research all the candidates. High fives, Partner!
yeah! I get the updated candidates from my NORLM membership. but I'm more worried about the economy and natural resources right now, any candidate other than shitcore would be better in that regard, and better for the medical mj patients trying to get their cancer meds! it takes a special kind of bastard to veto bills for children's needed medicine. jerm :sunny:
Found this interesting===Tom Wolf is frontrunner, thanks to television commericals: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/big_tent/Poll-Wolf-surges-to-lead-in-Democratic-gov-race.html
I've seen both sides of Pennsylvania...lived in Philly for four years and also a small town in Clarion county, population ~400. Nothing to do but watch the muddy river from, and drink beer.
yep live in a small town by the river....boring no bars,{one bar ,private members} we used to have keg partys in the woods and all over the country side, but now i,m old and stay at home. just drink and post here at hip fourms. P.A. is ok...but boring as fuck!!! thats why it sucks........
Pa is as boring as you let it be. I'm from Nepa, scranton/Wilkes Barre area. Lots of alcoholics up this way that's why most of us use our jeeps as getaway vehicles and go party in the woods
It's not heaven but it is what you make it. Best to travel around and hit all the bright spots, even if it's a scrappy tavern after 6-12 brews it's not so bad, might even score some cooz lol!!!!
I lived there about 6yrs ago in western pa. for a year and i loved it. I'm originally from wa. state so maybe it was the newness of living somewhere else, i don't know. I loved all the historical sites and went snooping whenever i had a chance away from work there. As for the people i found most of them to be pleasant and got along pretty well with everyone there. Plan on going back in about two weeks to visit family, can't wait.
