The only people to ever invade my house have been cops. If anyone ever invades my property, I'm not calling the cops unless there's a body that needs to be hauled off.
Obama's a prick and his answer was pure fluff; I posted it cause the cop that asked the question nailed it. It's in turmoil right now; but it's about to get way better or way worse, for sure. We must do all we can to make sure our voices are heard. The youth of California let us down this last election, in a big way. True shit.
Lots of people hate cops just because of the power they have, but others because of their track record in the past(and in some cases, the present) for treating certain people fairly while they treat others unfairly simply because of what skin color they have, their sexual orientation, or their overall physical appearance. The ones who bully people because they know they can get away with it, are the ones I hate. These are the type of cops that will look real hard for a reason to intimidate or arrest someone simply because there's something they don't like about that person, not because they did anything illegal. It's the same type of cop that will create a bad situation where there isn't one, just so they can arrest someone. The ones who I do respect are the ones who do their jobs "by the book". They don't let their personal opinion of someone dictate how they handle that person.
The democratic convention in chicago of 1968 and the kent state shootings of 1970 were enough for me. They draw an indisputable line. A line that will never be erased. A line that reads "We are in charge, you just live here" It was through these incidents that the hippie movement lost its momentum. The reason I hate the police and military involvement in law enforcement is because it had a hand in the death of something so beautiful, something with so much potential.
some cops take "serve and protect" to heart...those are the good ones lotta cops are more about the power trip though. makes sense that douchebags would gravitate towards a position of power
well, could be many reasons..mostly subconscious reasons..for people hating cops. most likely a power issue. you usually see teens bitching about cops.
I have a problem with some of the cops in my area because they seem to get bored and harass people. I dont hate them by any means though. And that's only a small number of them anyway. Most of them are cool and just doing their jobs. I usually dont do anything that would give them a reason to bother me and therefore they do not.
Do you think everything is different now? If something happened on the scale of everything that happened in the late 60s, I think law enforcement would repond with more intensity now, not less.
Exactly! Being things failed to change then, it should be no surprise that they aren't different now. The next time it happens though, we cannot back down. "They can't kill us all"
yep and be a whole lot more invasive via the internet...cross those boys and you'll have a lifetime of company watchin you.

Not EVERYONE hates COPS :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLSL8E-FLrQ"]YouTube - Send More Cops ! - Return of the Living Dead Hotwater
That's only in your neck of the woods. People in other areas kind of seem more susceptible to corruption and/or abuse of power. The higher the crime rate, the more... how should I say... aggressive/defensive that counties finest become. The more they have to worry about the possibility of losing their life in the line of duty, the more likely it is they have a possible loss of morale, get scared and do something that isn't in their rulebooks. "Jump the gun," if you will. I don't necessarily hate officers of the law, but I am highly skeptical. About as skeptical as I am of lawyers. About as skeptical as I am of humans as a whole. When it comes down to it, it just depends on the person you happen to be depending on. If there's anyone I would be angry at, it would be the directors or employment managers of various police stations/precincts. They should be more wary of who they employ to maintain constitutional rights in the said area. "Why does it seem that police officers take our rights away, when they are here to protect them?" --Anonymous
That guy got his ass fired for that shit like a year before he was eligible to retire. His appeal was denied a few months ago, so he has now lost most his pension.
hell yes he better have gotten fired for acting like the power hungry shit licking dildo sucking ashole fuckface that he is!!
The irony is you'll never get sued for calling someone that. Call them a cheat, lier and bad person, and you're sued for slander True.
