You should make an effort to resolve your irrational hatred of women, you gain nothing by hating them.

Acting as if you do not hate them would be the first step, your mind will eventually follow. Each time you feel hatred toward women interrupt the thought, recognize it, and let it pass. Do not act on it, such as posting in a forum. Let the thought pass, thoughts are not crimes and can be forgiven.

Repeat this till you no longer feel hatred. You will fail sometimes but that is alright because failure will become less frequent as time goes on.

 

i don't hate women, i just find most of them damn annoying and not worth the trouble. i prefer the company of men, on physical, emotional, and mental level. just the way i am. doesn't mean i hate females, some of them are okay, some rare exceptions. and as long as they leave me alone, i don't have a problem.

You're a gay man, right? Do you not expect to have a different perception of women from that of straight men?

 

I thought gay guys actually have a better opinion of women than straight men. They don`t have to pay for women, spoil women, or be reduced to disposable arm candy by women.

They get to have fun, see them naked, touch their boobs, kiss them (sometimes, fuck them) without an embarrassing ring on their finger, or thousands of dollars spent on dates, flowers, and the "money shot all over your face in front of your pals and parents" we call a wedding (to use the words of a keen observer).

And best of all, if a gay guy and a woman go shopping together, each of them get to carry their own bags home! Oh yeah, and gay guys do have a home and a credit card of their own!

so any kind of thread anywhere that raises criticism against women must have been made by a guy who hates women, right. there is no gray area. guys either love and admire you or they're irrational misogynistic chauvinist pigs who hate women. makes your life easier that way that's for sure. cause the possibility that someone rationally and logically finds most of you annoying is just intolerable.

this thread has been out on these forums for a long time now. and since that time (and in real life) there have been plenty guys who understand exactly what i meant. if i were the only one to notice this thing i would think the problem was me. until then...

 

I think men tolerate female irrationality because it makes them superior. Were men to demand that women act rationally, they would have to accept them as equals.

Likewise, women act irrationally because being inferior has its advantages. Especially, if you've got a tendency toward inferiority.

 

Alrighty, then the word hate is too strong, and I would replace it with the word dislike. I still wish to express everything else in my previous reply, though.

That's a stereotype that Hollywood constantly presents, and I haven't run across many examples of it in the real world. According to HBO, CineMax, and Showtime, I'm the kind of girl who should have always had a gay male close friend at her side. In reality, those guys rarely like me at all. I have a much better track record at making friends with straight guys. They like me better than women do.

Maybe we are lumping gay men together too much, when there are obviously several different personality types within the group.

There seem to be plenty of gay men out there who think they are the only ones who know the right way to be a woman. I don't see much of that image in the pop culture.

Not just tolerate. Encourage. A lot of straight men like to play that game. Psychologists have written entire books about what the game does for them.

You see this all the time in the business world, but not so much socially.

A common game that women play. It's a way to use a man's ego for our own purposes. Some will openly acknowledge it to other women, for laughs.

Circular reasoning: Any female criticism of a thread pointing out the inferiority of women only gives further evidence of our inferiority. Logical fail.

The reason you can take it is because you agree with everything I said, except about gay men. I`m sorry you couldn`t have many gay friends, they are infinitely more fun than straight people, male or female. My best friends over the last 3 years have been gay.

I`ll agree to that. Still, responsibility must be placed on women as well for accepting their encouragement, such as you mention in:
