Anyways, for me this goes right back to my thread on "Why potheads are looked upon badly by the world"

Yes, at 15 you may be "mature" enough to smoke, and yes you may know all the consequences of smoking etc. but imo at 15 unless you and your family are just scum and or very irresponsible to begin with, there is no way to conduct yourself with enough respect to smoke and go about it in a fasion that works for you.

At 15 most likely you have a curfew, you dont have the freedoms of older kids, you have to go to school, you have responabilites, you HAVE to live with your parents

therefor the average stoner will not conduct themselves with enough respect to always get away with smoking, eventually you will get lazy and eventually you will get caught

once you get caught, most likely your parents will have a negative image of smoking, this negative image will be harshly forced upon you, and you being 15 will not be in a position to tell them otherwise, you can pull up all the studies in the world, all the opinions and politics of why smoking is bad, but why should your parents care? YOU ARE 15!

parents should want the best for you, and the best for you being 15 and in what? grade 8? is NOT smoking weed, any way you put it, even if you think you are soo smart, it's not the thing for you, and especially not on a daily basis

And what this all comes back to is making responsible pot users look bad, when young kids such as yourself are caught/depicted by the media/ridiculed by parents, that only means more and more non-users are forming a negative opinion about the drug, and will most likely always keep that opinion because they had such a negative experiance with it

and who caused them to form that negative experiance?

With all this said I couldnt give 2 shits about what you do with your life, I started when i was probably mid 16 and i've done quite well, also I live in a city where pot smoking is virutally legal so i dont have a problem with dumb ass kids getting caught, it's people who live in places with strict laws who ruin it for the rest of you.

The truth is that it's better not to smoke till your like 18 or even older in some cases, untill you've got your priorities staright , a firm grasp on reality and know what really matters in life. Smoking at such a young age especially if everyday will get you used to being fucked up most of the time, at some point you'll find your life revolving around getting high rather then achieving objectives that will make you a successful person like school etc...

 

I dont really think it has to do with how old you are after your 14. Some 14 year olds would be ok smoking, some 18 year olds wouldn't. IMO Its really all about you knowing if its a good time to start. And as far as kids on these forums, I being one of them, no ones going to bother you if you come off the right way. Alot of younger kids just come off a certain way sometimes, IDK exactly what Im saying but I don't even really look at the age of someone, but I can usually tell if their 14 by the way the express themselves.

 

I would agree with the getting priorities straight, but if your able to keep doing well in school I feel like weed and psychedelics can help you know your priorities

 

Even if they are mature, their brains are still in development, there is no excuse for them to have alcohol or marijuana.

I started smoking when i was 13. Looking back i made some bad decisions. The lowest grade i got though was a B throughout school. I think the reason people dont like people smoking at an early age is because most people taht start smoking that early dont know how to set their priorities straight. Usually causing them to get bad grades making the whole weed smoking population steriotyped as dumbasses.

i started when i was 14. i have no regrets. theres some people that shouldnt start that early though. hell theres some people that shouldnt smoke at all.

 

Most 15 year olds are going into their sophomore year in highschool btw.

I agree that for some people smoking when you're young is a stupid move, but thats not always the case. I first started smoking a year ago and many of my friends around the same age as me started smoking a little before that. Sadly, some of them let it get to their heads and those individuals are no longer my friends. It's not an issue of age, it's an issue of how responsible you are.

 

i think some young people are stupid... and they do acually throw away their live.
i know what i want to do.. i have my career set out infront of me.
i respect my family and i try hard at school.
when i get stoned... i do it sensibly.. i know how to control how much im having and i always make sure im in a safe place with good people.

im 16....

some people a different than others. and yeah its sad when i rad about older people giving us young ones shit. get to know us more. were not as stupid and imature as some of you think.

i was an idiot... i started when i was 13 turning 14.. just as soon as i got to grade 9.. i didnt smoke all that much before.. but eventually.. when i turned 16/17 i began smoking it wayy too regularily, and now i'm almost completly quitting. i smoke wayyy more responsibly now than i did before. and a lot less too. and i dont even like pot anymore. lol fuck it.

anyway.. i think i should have started so early.. i was just curious.. and then got caught up in it...
