Why do so many str8 folks assume ALL gay men are into anal?

In a way, I think it's humorous that this thread became a reality because of a joke. It opened the door to a lot of serious debate. In fact, I'm still amazed folks are reading and leaving comments (after 2 months), etc. The subject must have touched on a nerve. But it's actually not all that complex.

At the very least, more than a few gay dudes made it clear they like and/or prefer oral more than anal. Which answers my original question. I'm just curious why the OP (the one whose anal threads inspired my own) has suddenly dropped out of the discussion? I mean, he could have brought much to the table. But for some mysterious reason -- he suddenly chose to remain silent. Which makes me think he was never 100% serious. Which is a pity: I was actually starting to appreciate the dude...
