Damn. That's a lot of pets. LOL. So you must have had really huge grocery bills, huh? Pet food ain't all that cheap. So yeah, I'd have to say you really do love domestic animals a lot. I think it's totally cool. Thanks for your comment!

Well I was out one night at a bar with friends. A girl I knew in high school(and liked) noticed us. She goes to college at the city I was in at the time. She walked up to me, and said "don't drink too much, because you're coming home with me tonight" I thought wow, is this ever cool. We danced all night together, and I layed off the booze.
We leave the bar, get to her house, walk up to her step, she unlocks the door...and says "I have 2 cats...I hope you don't mind". Awww, fuck. I'm DEATHLY allergic to cats. One hair on my face, and I would swell up like a balloon. Needless to say, I have hated them since that night. Fuckin cats.

I love both cats and dogs. If I had my preference I'd have a couple dogs and a couple of cats. At the moment I have just one cat, but she rocks.

Dude, that's a sad one. Sorry to hear about your cat. But at least you got to spend 10 years together. A lot of human relationships don't even last that long. Thanks for your insightful comment.

Dude, that is a way tragic story. I can see why you might hate cats. Most dudes would feel the same way. Thanks for sharing your story.

i dont know - someones probably already said this but i think men are like dogs and women are like cats...and well there's the clash my friend..personality wise it can be pretty true:

dogs like to be in packs
cats are more loners unless they are close to other cats
dogs dont like cats or like to chase them
cats want to rip the face of dogs
    dogs have loyal trustworthy eyes
a cat is icey and say dont fuck with me
    dogs are always there
cats say leave a msg and ill get back to ya later

can anyone think of more ways men are like dogs and women are like cats

Damn, I think I like your comment the best of all (so far). You are right. I think it is a personality thing. Most dudes think cats are totally lame cuz they are so distant and quiet and don't wanna fetch a stick or anything. Plus cats can be sorta sneaky. And might scratch the hell outta you if you freak them out. Maybe it's just easier for a dude to be a buddy with a dog? And it's easier for girls to like cats cuz they don't judge them for being so laid back and everything? I dunno. But I think you are really onto something here. And I hope other folks will help us to maybe understand this better, etc. Thanks for one of the most insightful comments so far!

    Peace,

    ~PD
