why do so called "punks" hate hippies?

If the songs bother people so much, I dont see why people dont just stop listening to them. Classic rock isnt hard at all to get a hold of at all.

Not only is that page overran by ads, its overran by all those spammers. If they come into young hippies or random thoughts, i..i....dont know what i would do.

it's hard to say something's close minded by putting your views into affect, i like to think to myself, if somebody was massmurdering thousands of people because they believed themselves to be christ, then i couldnt hold it against them- i mean its what they believe, they feel its truly right, why should i be able to say that theyre wrong?

I actually had a girl some up to me in Boston whiel I was shopping; now- backtracking, I had on full length patchwork courd pants and a forrest green shirt decked out with henp necklaces... so I'm sure I wasn't to visually hard to stop, lol. ANyway, she was in the typically Hot Topic Clothign line- I know you all understand... the "I bought every single piece of my outfit @ Hot Topic so I'm totally down now" you knw? And she poked my shoulder, looked me in the eye and goes "I don't like your type. You scare me, why can't you guys just shower, get jobs and work like everyone else. Fucking tree huggin freak" and then she walked off. I might have said something back had I not been in such a state of shock, lol. I don't hurt anything, so it's nto like I was gonna throw down right there in the marketplace, but I wish I could have had something to say. No one is rude to me, ever. People have actually back me up on certain occassions, say- my friends, fi someone says somethign rude- everyone is so freaked out- my school knew me as the nice girl, no one was ever mean to me just because... well Id on't know why- I'm just saying that no one has ever been rude to me... so when it happens I'm in such confused shock.

I'm not sure why we're constantly labels treehugging freaks... I'm not sure why hugging a tree is being freakish... but well... I on't know. I wish everyoen inthe worl doculd be as accepting as us.

I have had a few Hippies snicker and make rude comments to me for being Goth, It works both ways.
I have learned on this board not all Hippies are like that.
