At work so I don't have a ton of time to reply but I must say LeviathanXII's post is right on the money. I'm a nearly 40 year old electrical engineer and some of my more enlightening experiences came from LSD and Shrooms. Honestly some of best memories too. Hell, I was tripping half the time in my Differential Equations class in college and came out with an A, no problems.
what about all the alcohal related deaths that happen EVERY single day? Those don't give alcohal a bad rap now do they... but one incident gets tons of exposure and everyone blames the mushrooms? That is totally retarded and pathetic. Anyone with common sense would realize that alcohal and tobacco are WAY worse for us than a few shroom trips once in a while.
sounds like she needs an education... there are so many books/info etc available... that's quite apart from your own experiences... i wouldn't hide it from her... if she really doesn't want to experience shrooms then that's her right, but you also have a right to go there if you want... don't allow her fears to run your life eh...
If she really loves you, she will let you be who you are without limitations, as I assume you would do the same for her. Ask her if she loves you as you are. If she says yes, then tell her you've been doing psychedelics and she doesn't even know it. Then ask her if she still loves you as you are. If she changes her mind, then it's time to change girlfriends. Find one with a more open mind.
War on consciousness. War of Ideology. Civil disobedience is the stand-by, education is the tool. ...unrelated, mushie as a substance can rip your head off pretty darn hard.
Whenever people have a bad thing to say about harder drugs they always refer to a suicide that they believe that drug caused. Countless amounts of people use the same drug daily and when that one person comes around every 10 years that decides to kill themselves everyone labels the drug as horrible. Maybe the person had always thought of suicide but never gathered the strength to attempt it. I think I'll end my rant here. As for your girlfriend, like Skip said, just let her know. If she's not O.K. with how you wish to live your own life then I honestly don't think you should be with her anymore. However, if you really love her and just can't leave her then research these drugs with her together. Show her facts and myths about the drugs you wish to experiment with. Maybe that might change her mind? Lol. Good luck!
