HUMANS need to be spayed or neutered! of course there's problems with that too.

the sensible thing would be to put something in the water that lowers human firtility, not eliminates it but lowers it percentage wise, accross the board without bias or exception, so that no ethnicity or income level or anything is favored or disfavored.

it is true that anything that spends a lot of time arround humans begins to act somewhat straingely. it does seem like we're maybe not exactly setting the most positive of examples for them.

of course another silly thing humans do is expect all members of a species to act a particular way, as if humans alone were the only species allowed to have individual personalities, which, anyone who has been arround any kind of creatures very much and been honest with themselves in observing them will realize just how rediculous that is.

every dog, every cat, every rat, mouse, every kind of everything mammalian anyway, with reptiles it's a little harder to tell, but each individual creature always has its own unique personality. this whole thing about instinct, well that exists too to a degree, but infants of every species learn from the examples of their parrents and other members of their species and even occasionaly of other species around them.

there has been a bias on the part of certain beliefs against acknowledging and recognizing this, but it's really pretty unambiguous.

Dog is still a better animal to keep, overall.
Stronger instincts, better odds of actually protecting you and doing what you say.
Hardier, generally much more friendly. They're actually loyal.
...and you know, they -do- things. Try taking a cat for a run in the park...and should you get it to actually run, good luck getting it back.

Not that there aren't bad dogs...you don't hear about many cats mauling people...but frankly, the ability of dogs to occasionally weed out dumber humans is probably a good thing in cosmic terms :)

...and regardless of an above post, dogs tend not to attract the loons. The phrase "crazy cat lady" is part of common language for a reason.

The biggest reason I don't like cats is because I really just can't be happy with an animal shitting and pissing in my house. litterbox my ass. Its disgusting, even for me. at least I can flush mine after I'm done. That just lays there and reeks for however long you let it. Too much damn work.

then get a garden, most cats would prefere to go outside and cover it up when they are finished and in that way are far more hygienic than dogs

I sit and read some of the foolish reason not to have cats and how much more dogs are prefered.

I get my cats young, bottle feed them, make them think I am the parent and from that point on its easy to train and shape them.

They are way more responsive then dogs and have the ability to think on there own vs a dog that only knows what they are taught to do.

Not my cats. My dad and I built them separate houses and the little fuckers just shit in the bottom room when I took the litter box away. They have been outside cats since I got them and never ever wanted to take a shit or piss outside. Once a cat is litter trained it's hard to make them use anything else.

my cat is more like a dog than a feline. his name is Red, he comes when he's called and he plays fetch. i got him when he was so tiny, he couldn't even meow. now my tinyness is 2 and a half, and i don't think there is a cooler cat out there.

There is no "better animal" to keep. I think it depends on the overall personality of your animal. There are plenty of animals I have had or know that broke the sterotype of what they were supposed to be. For example, I had a cat who attacked my brother when he was beating me up and scared him into a closet :)lol:) and a doggie that was afraid or water just as mich as tiny, bug lol.

that not what happened with my two adult cats, the litter tray went, after they had been useing it for years when we installed a cat flap and they then used the yard

There won't be any cats in MY garden. If they kill my "babies" I will kill them. Pot always has and always will be much more important to me than cats. Dogs for that matter too.
