Has literally done fuck all in office.

Except ending hostilites with Nth Korea.

2nd meeting coming up with Kim Jong Un

Give him some face time, they are buddies now, 5 years later there is a Starbucks on every corner in Pyongyang.

Thats all he has to do to be remembered as one of your more successful presidents, and he knows it

I honestly don't know... He's such a nice, respectful, honest, caring, understanding, intelligent, and tolerant individual. It just blows my mind.

I think people hate him because they are easily manipulated by the media and cannot think for themselves. We live in an age where people react more than they think. This mentality is encouraged by the news media, as well as social media, Hollywood celebrities, prolific entertainers, college campuses, etc.

I personally don't care for the guy, but I certainly don't hate him. If you either love him or hate him, I believe you're falling into the trap that powers that be want, because they want the division and polarization.

I see Trump as merely an actor fulfilling a role to the people pulling the strings behind the curtain.

I really think part of the reason they gave us Trump is so they can move the left further to the left, and we see this with people like Ocasio-Cortez. I predict the next president will be the most socialistic president this country has seen. Some people may see this as a good thing, however I do not.

At the same time, they want to demonize people with traditional, conservative views as racist, hateful, unintelligent, etc. They are using Trump to do this. Trump riles people up on both sides of the spectrum.

  8. Wait a minute now, there's a lot to be respected about classic liberalism. There was a time when liberal republicans were a thing! Oh the horror.

I don't hide my distaste for hard leftism, few of them hide their disdain for me (as they try to cram me into a play dough mold shaped like Trump). And that's not just here, I'm a bastard on other sites as well. I've been doing this since 1984. It started with Compuserve. Then I was too broke and went with local BBS boards. Then came GEnie with a nationwide chat room. Only took me 3 months to get kicked out, banned, no mo.

Oddly, it was because I was too free with my discussion (I talked about pot a lot). I was also very anti-establishment (stole shit, ran cons, gambled).

These days I'm trying to avoid being on CNN.

You cannot express certain viewpoints without being pigeonholed these days. Even on this website there are people who assume I must be a Trump supporter because of my disdain for the left.

He's a terrible speaker. Even if he came up with a grand idea he'd fuck it all up in his presentation.

There were no hostilities with North Korea to end. And The President Of The United States buddying up with Kim Jong-un, a ruthless dictator who is accused of “extermination, murder, enslavement, torture, imprisonment, rape, forced abortions and other sexual violence, persecution on political, religious, racial and gender grounds, the forcible transfer of populations, the enforced disappearance of persons and the inhumane act of knowingly causing prolonged starvation," is a travesty. Kim Jong-un is a pathetic little piece of shit.

I'm pretty sure this has always been the case. For which viewpoints it counts most seem to change with the times.
Everyone does it from time to time to some extent, even you ;)

Historical dictators were very good spokesman in terms of presentation and nobody has anything good to say about them, either. Sooooo??

  16. Imagine that. It's like a huge swath of people, across many platforms, are programmed to the point of hypnosis. All I hear are rote slogans or dubious talking points. Seconds before being assaulted by claims that I'm a closet klansman with a Trump dildo and an orange dreamcicle. Or, it seems that way. There's always my age and indulgent mind hobbies to blame.

I've been hearing about Trump for decades. Until a few years ago I thought he was a democrat. Otherwise I knew what he allowed on the air. Through that filter I saw the kind of arrogance I see in other wealthy people. It's amazing how cocky people can be with a few more drachmas under the carpet. But I try not to get biblical in my standards since I too have had a few more coins and refused to loan them to my (step)brother. He was worse than a crack head, he was a day trader. Lost his own mother's house. E-fucking-vile.

Anyway, I've known wealthy people who are willing to shed a few bucks to exact revenge or otherwise shut someone up. I don't mean contract killings, that's thankfully rare. My point is that really wealthy people can afford the absolute worst that can be delivered onto whomever they perceive to be an enemy. But then, everybody knows this and prays the billionaire will play by the rules. I really think though that bribes is where they do most of their business when it comes to underhanded deals.

Ross Perot flew to Iran with a sack full of cash to bribe the Iranians so they'd keep the hostages out of the prisons and segregated safely. It was the best he could do. While Carter wore a sweater by the fire in the white house with his thumb up his ass. So I understand, begrudgingly, that bribes exist.

And don't forget, the Americans left 3 cars on the moon.

Why dont people these days like individuals who stretch the truth from time to time?

    Because they're sensitive pussies.

Trump WAS a Democrat for most of his life, and was close friends with the Clintons and so many other people who now supposedly hate him. He was a darling of the left-wing media and Hollywood elite who he now chastises, and who chastise him.

Funny, when Bush was in office Trump wanted to distance himself from the Republican Party because he felt they were "too far to the right". Now Trump is considered to be the most right-wing president, even though he isn't but plays the part very well.

It amazes me how fast stuff can fall down the memory hole.

I don't believe anything I see at face value. You just can't.

  19. What if those truths were stretched to commit murder or thefts? Should we just overlook them?

Hey, people die all the time. What we need to do as a society is "toughen up" and learn to accept criminal behavior, especially those committed by elected officials. It makes us stronger and better somehow.
