Why do people bash Hot Topic?

Self-respecting punk is an oxymoron but yes, I agree. Like the Guevara shirts, it's just a fad now. But the skinny-fit jeans and some of the t-shirts (of good movies or bands) are wicked.

 

i dont know if they sell em at hot topic, but i've often thought similar things about the tshirts and merchandise with che guevara's image on it

 

the ones hung up on the wall. have you checked the prices on those? more like 80 -100

 

Or like a punk band on MTV

 

yeah, the same irony applies. one guy in highschool thought it was a picture of Zack De La Rocha from Rage Against The Machine.
