The majority of women today don't stay at home in the kitchen and mind the house and the kids. ..They're out there working, supporting themselves or helping to support their family..

Largely because the cost of living shot through the roof in the last 60 years. Nowadays a family cannot be be sustained by one provider working one job like it used to be. High costs of living force both parents to work full time.

But it was done this way by design. The government has realized it can collect more income tax revenue from mothers being out of the house and in the workforce. That way they can take more parenting time away from the kids, and keep them enrolled in government indoctrination camps, better known as public schooling.

 

It's an attitude widely shared by the religious community, including Islam. A form of religious conservatism that I don't agree with.

Women should be offered the choice whether or not they wanna be a career woman, or a mothering house wife. And neither career direction should be shamed by anyone. I personally think that being a parent is one of the most important jobs in the world. But I don't scorn those who choose not to become one.

 

Government could make even more tax money if they would quit giving those tax breaks to the very wealthy and the corporations....

But, school is mandatory whether a mom stays home or not. And there are no state sponsored daycares for pre-school aged kids

They'd have even more if they stopped giving corporations welfare. And even MORE if they woudn't spend literally a trillion dollars on fighter jets that don't even work.

More and more kids are coming home from school to empty homes. With nobody to greet them at the door. Sometimes they just stay in prolonged after school care programs. Lots of parents aren't spending enough time with their kids because they don't have the time to do so.

Public school is an indoctrination center. Pledging to the flag every morning, teaching them that Colombus discovered America and proved the world was round, and leaving them clueless how to get by in the real world after 12 years.

A dumber populace is easier to control.

US schools used to be #1 in the world. After Carter's department of Education, it's fallen to something like #18
