It has been published by someone well known here as a bigot and he is publishing it in the politics forum – it’s not a joke because it’s not that funny, it’s a political statement a bigoted remark in the disguise of a joke to give it plausible deniability.

What an accomplishment... Provoking someone who cares about stigmatisation and discrimination with a joke that was stale over a decade ago (and so clearly not made primarily in order to share a piece of humor but indeed to get the 'libtard' to respond in seriousness). Do you know I always find it rather bizarre that many right wingers claim that left wingers don’t have a sense of humour when right wing humour is so lacking in actual humour, I suppose that right wingers find differing things funny I mean it seems to me that a lot of right wing humour is petty, mean, not very uplifting and lacking in depth or insight and so predictable. I mean they just have to say a socialist is stupid and it has them rolling around or clutching their stomachs like a toddler after a fart joke.

I’m trying to think of a right wing comedian of any worth and I’m finding it hard to think of one.

 

Well, many comedians i like could be perceived to be rightwing, but i assume they're rather apolitical or that they might suprise me after all. Thing is: i see little use in labeling a comedian politically, unless of course the far majority of their jokes are clearly politically motivated.
But rude and discriminating humor is often hilarious. Crux is of course it should not only be rude or discriminating.

What you're wondering about is pretty obvious: people like to ridicule those they disagree with. People who think in left and right and affiliate themselves with either side are more easily amused by a joke cracked at the expense of the other side (because you know, they're so wrong). It's not solely a rightwing thing either obviously
