Stop cognition of direction? Even if acting for actions sake there is only inaction in such. A balance within the moment only, don't trinkle down. We can't have it one way or the other. If it is natural it is, attachment is futile other than for discontentment.
There is no direction, only corridors of refraction. Being is a field we call reality. Cognition, knowledge, is being shared.
I differ with this... Some are intuitive but I doubt many have any abilities beyond what's commonly held. I don't doubt that there is potential with many but the circuitry hasn't been and never will be completed. It wouldn't bode well for the species that a large number possess psychic abilities as I believe most simply can't handle it emotionally. Look at what the extraordinary effect of fame and fortune does to so many... they self-destruct.
Not sure if I agree with that or not. I find myself thinking both ways, surely doesn't matter, I'm in tune with my own mind's function.
I would say that since psychic events are controlled in the realm of the spirit, any attempt to make it the realm of materially-based government would probably lead to a series of spirit-based events to prove the futility of any attempt at government control. Maybe in a way I'm saying the same thing you did.
Unlike fame and fortune, psychic ability increases only to the extent that the person who has it is able to handle it.
So anyway jmt, here's a question for you: Why do you need a psychic to tell you what's already happened? Have you forgotten?
you know i asked if i was going to get the hospital job this month and she said yes....and the next day the hospital called to tell me that i wasnt..
I find myself thinking exactly this much of the time. I've been proven wrong on too many things I had been certain about enough to hold out the possibility... though I'd wager most so-called psychics are likely just con artists... there will always be a variety of flavors of cons out there as there is an assured supply of pigeons for them to pluck.
More or less joking... I don't know about professional psychics, I've never heard of them. I believe in super intuition though.
Here is a story about one of my interactions with my spirit guide Deanna. This happened around probably summer of 2003. I used to see Deanna at break time a lot. She went outside the office to smoke, and I would often see her and talk to her and others. One time I was there with her and her coworker Monica, and we were joking around. I said something, I forget what, that was a little dig, and Deanna came back at me with something that sounded like she was genuinely pissed. So silently - in my mind - I asked her, "Are you trying to start a fight?" Immediately Monica silently walked into the building entrance and left us. Deanna looked at me a moment, then down at the ground, and silently mosied to stand by my side, where she quietly said OUT LOUD: "No, we're not trying to start a fight." Seems like a bit more than intuition there, Moksha. I have lots more stories that illustrate this sort of thing, but you get the idea. The thing is, people like Deanna don't usually do psychic readings. They're involved in the more serious business of spiritual guidance on a one-to-one basis. I have met one professional psychic who has gifts on par with Deanna's, and she does do readings - currently she charges upwards of $500 for a one-hour session - and gets it. However she has turned spiritual guidance into a business designed to bring a wider audience closer to the light. Here's her website, if you're interested: www.soniachoquette.com So yeah, all joking aside, there are "real" psychics, all righty. You've probably talked to some at one time or another, and just didn't know it. There are "real" psychics participating in these forum discussions. If you look real close, you might be able to figure out who they are.
government licensed and regulated psychics - what a delightful sense of humour you have, zengizmo! sorry i didn't reply with shock and outrage yesterday , hehe, i didn't get a chance to make it by here ....i must agree with the statement that we are all born psychic, and perhaps disagree with the statement that we're only as psychic as we can handle - i'm sure we can think of instances in which some could not handle their abilities very well at all
Thanks goddess - just using humor to keep the demons at bay. As long as you noticed, that's the main thing - I wouldn't want my digs to be in vain! I think I disagree too, after thinking it over some more. How dare you say that about me!!! Yes, in thinking about it some more I remembered some things that my spirit guides did not do well with - and of course there have been plenty of things I have not handled well, as referenced above. However I tend to think these examples are not so much because of the psychic knowledge as they are instances where the psychic gifts have been used as part of human relationships where people have been quite unkind to one another. But there was also the case of my Reiki teacher, who once spoke about being a little girl, aware of strange entities all around her that nobody else noticed, and not knowing how to handle that.
I said super intuition, that entails a lot to me. Including incidences like that. I'm a bit too stoned and lazy to elaborate on my experiences. I just wasn't aware there were actually licensed psychics. good day.
Okay then. To me, the word "intuition" leaves room for vagueness, whereas in my experience, the psychics I know have clearer knowledge of what's in my head than I do. The thing about the "licensed psychics" is my little joke. The government doesn't license psychic practitioners - at least, not to my knowledge. It's actually a bit ironic, however, that Sonia Choquette, the psychic I mentioned, "certifies" psychics who graduate from her courses. Nothing against Sonia, of course, she's a sweetheart, an amazing psychic and needed spiritual guide for our times, and one of my angels. And I understand the need of some people for a certification program. But it still strikes me as kind of funny in a way. Well, now I need to add something to mitigate my last statement. Sonia herself STUDIED under a couple of accomplished psychics to hone her skills, and I do see that sort of study is needed, and her goal is to pass on that needed knowledge to other psychics. So now I've talked myself in almost a complete circle. But I still think the idea of government-licensed psychics is funny.
