Why do hippies have long hair?

not sure if this is true, but lennon stayed in bed for like a week, and told everyone to grow out there hair. and to not have wars and stuff.

lots of people said that he was doing the whole thing for money, his responce was something like "i could write a song in one hour that would get me more money than staying in bed for a week" lol he was one cool cat

Aren't you just conforming to the fashion trends of a subsection of society then? Not that theres anything wrong with fashion trends.

I cut my own hair with clippers every few weeks. It looks good and it's more functional for activities. It also requires a lot less upkeep.

part of being a hippy is being somewhat earthy (for me at least)...Earthy is natural and people werent born with sissors to cut their hair so why do it... it wasnt "ment to be"

 

but i bet u wear clothes and live in a house and eat processed meat and wear make up?

...ok maybe u don't do all of those things, but maybe atleast one.. hmm :H

i agree, guys with long hair can be hot, my hair is long because my friend who used to cut my hair moved to oregon a couple years ago. so i suppose out of laziness to go down to supercuts I've let my hair grow long

 

Cause Hippies were the 1st to rediscover how beautiful long hair is.

 

if u r able to gtoe your hair, why not? ok some people can't, they are still nice people, but why shoudn't other do it. And yeah.... hair is beautiful and gives you more personal spirit..... not like a robot, more like being. I think personal, wild style is what turns me on, (sure, long hair on guys is an absolute turn-on), but I like people who are totally original and free with their hair
