A lot of women in France and Holland would disagree with this. The Nazis also took what they wanted.

War is a stressful time full of young men. Men have certain urges. Their commander tells them to handle those urges. It's a nice break from the war. The 1940's were not really a time of women's rights anyway and these women are the enemy. Any army rapes.

To be honest American, British, and French soldiers, were not averse to raping German women and young girls
to exact revenge against German atrocities

    :D

A lot of "French" soldiers after WW2 happened to be German, as the Waffen SS were classed as a criminal outfit (false) they needed a place to flee. One place was Ireland where my grandad landed but another place was France, after being demoralized they realised just how important they were and worked as from a fighting standpoint.

When the French entered Vietnam, many of the soldiers were actually German. Didn't work out well though, similar to the Americans, just the landscape was overwhelming.

What the Germans did to Russian civiians amongst others was pretty nasty.

I'd put it down to revenge mainly.

20 million or so Russians died in WW2

Dude, you need to look up a bit of history. The Germans were the fighting force, they went through and cleaned up the cities and moved on to the next. A Blitzkrieg doesn't work if you stop and have your fun. The German army was never allowed to do this, by punishment of death, the Waffen SS at least which was the main fighting force in the East, their job was to keep moving.

Now, during that Blitzkrieg, the Waffen SS encountered many volunteers from Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia who were more than happy to eradicate the populations left behind at cities while the German army moved forward. Look it up, they had their own SS divisions and rankings. Himmler had already publicly stated that the toll on the mind a German man from killing civilians was detrimental to the war effort. He didn't want that, he personally saw the toil and torment through his own mind and consciousness. Who better to mop up Russian civilians than the volunteers of the countries under complete oppression from the Reds? Look it up, you'll find it. In fact, those volunteers continued to fight the reds well after WW2, into the 1950s.

Also look up the Polish side to things too, you often read, hear, watch survivors saying the Germans were nothing, it was the Russians that were the problem. The nations I spoke of earlier were irrelevant in Poland as Germany could easily manage that piece of land.

You guys watch too many American movies and refuse to read the history which is readily available right there in front of you.

I'll do a bit of the leg work for you.

Look into, the first volunteer division in the east by Estoians: Volksdeutsche unit. The 7th Mountain Prinz Eugen division, this drew its volunteer units from Hungary, Romania and Yugoslavia. When Albanian volunteers were recruited, this division was renamed to Skanderbeg Division.
Also the 18th Horst Wessel Panzergrenadier division was formed from the original Volksdeutsche division when it recruited its volunteers from Hungary.
    Czech volunteers enabled Böhmen-Mahren Brigade.

And none of that even has anything to do with Latvia or Lithuania. And I haven't even got started on the Arab and Muslim divisions of the Waffen-SS. Yep, that's right, "tainted" race fought alongside and with the best of them all and it won't take a genius to work out why. Along with the oppression of Eastern countries against Russia, who do you think couldn't wait to land their hands on the family of Abraham? Kind of turn the entire subject of "race" right on its head, doesn't it? Look it up.

A significant number of militaries engage in mass rape. Even to this day.

The Nazis were racist. That didn't stop them from (temporarily) allying with "inferior" races for imperial means, as with the Japanese.
