Why Bass?

This is for you and the dope. Check out the Greatful Dead's wall of sound. They had physicists design this fucker. The Bass Columns in it were 30' high because that is one full cycle of an open E string on electric bass the sheer inspired madness of it was conceptually mind blowing.

Bass attracts some of the most passionate musicians IMO. People who play bass tend to LOVE it. I am one of them. Theory speaking, it is a difficult instrument, as it not only carries a melody, which is based off of the harmonies and melodies of the keys and guitar, but also must match or counter the drums. That is what they call the "groove." It is just such an awesome instrument.
