Why am I here? - Because it's the greatest place ever on the internet. All sorts of people, all sorts of topics and (usually) a good atmosphere. Why am I a hippie? - Well, nature or nurture is the big question. I voted ideals, because I'm not into drugs and not old enough for nostalgia. Ideals, yes, I think that's it.
I don't consider myself a hippie, though I may fit the typical stereotype, i will never classify myself into any group. But aside from that, the reason i first came here was after the most magical and life changing experience of my life jerry garcia's birthday bash 2004. I came here to look for the one person who made that weekend the most magical ever. All I have to remember her by is a picture and a stick of incense she gave me, and since that weekend my goal has been to find her. Thid is why I came, and this is why I stay, although it is not likely she would be on this forum considering she is probably on tour, i figured people here might be able to help, wether it is helping me find her or just helping me realize why that certain time was so magical and why it happened.
From the time I was old enough to make a my own choice's clothes,music,spirituality,and basic way of life the whole "60's hippy" thing just came out naturally! No one person or thing made sway either way, it was just born in me I suppose?! Or maybe it was God I belive he lays the path we walk but as far as why or how it is something that is just in you I think...... It should be that way no matter what life style you choose..... JUST KEEP IT REAL!!!!!
