I don't mean in a sexual sense, whenever I watch a show that has a lesbian relationship that instantly becomes my favorite aspect of the show regardless of what they are doing together. For example my favorite episode in Buffy the vampire slayer is "The Body" the episode where Buffy's mom dies. This episode contains my favorite moment in the entire series, not willow and Tara kissing onscreen for the first time(although that is still super freakin adorable) but rather the moment right before that where willowis freaking out to Tara about what shirt to wear and Tara calms her down. That moment just seems so genuine and so adorable to me but idk what do you guys think?
Ummm.... so are we talking reality here or television?? Like, uh, the stuff you see on a television program isn't real life.
More to the point, it can be the exact opposite. Buffy and programmes like Lost Girl are clearly playing people, indoctrination. This was actually something I was going to mention in another thread. Heterosexual relationships are portrayed as "short term, forced, not meant to be, and dsyfunctional". Lesbian ones are portrayed as "happy, natural course of events, successful". Its very sad to see attempts at programming in this way.
OITNB I wouldnt say adorable, but I dont think I'd be able to watch a series about a mens medium/low security prison Apart from that show, hard pressed to think of any show thats has an actual wesbian couple I suspect the OP just likes to fantasize two female characters on a show are playing rock, paper, scissors without the rock or paper
Most lesbian couples i see in real life are not comprised of two hot lipstick lesbians. Tv is really playing up to male fantasies more than anything
because they don't have that ugly guy in them? irl probably not that much more so. i mean they are all ages and all grades of human appearance. i mean, i know several irl, and they, look about no more nor less then any other.
