actually, we do. or, you do? it's definitely not as strong as we're poked at for, ("no doot aboot it!"), and you probably can't hear it, because i don't think people are ever aware of their own accent, at least not like an outsider is aware. it's a subtle change in the pronunciation of our vowels. anyways, i travel a lot and especially when overseas, i am reminded of canadian accents, when i meet fellow canucks. i think it sounds great, lovely, homey, maaaawvellous, eh?
