    No one has proven that the Bible consists of myths and legends and Bible fits together quite nicely.
    The Bible is translated so people who speak other languages can have access to God's word, not to "attempt to make sense of the bible".

    As for the Bible being "embarrassingly lacking as far as historical or any other proof goes" nothing could be farther from the truth.
