sort of related... I had a job opportunity in a fancy area with a company that does management for celebrities. My job (I didn't end up working there, but anyway...) was in an accounting role. Anyway, they do management for Jim Carey sometimes. I think he's really talented (yes, comedy is a talent), and I couldn't stop thinking of humorous ideas the whole day one time. During that day, I happened to go to a mall and was looking at suitcoats. Inside the collar I was looking for the size, and it reads: "Made in Ethiopia". And I started laughing... ----- If you don't know, suitcoats are sometimes slim fitting and often are ill fitting. Unless you hire a tailor, it can be tricky and you're lucky if you walk away without really spending more than you anticipated. The reason I thought it was funny is because I'm a big guy. When I was little they had normal sizing for boys (I want to say size 8 to 20 but I don't have kids and don't know; I think that's what it is... anyway. trivia...) and then they had "husky". I fell in the latter category. And that rubs me the wrong way, but they didn't have weight specialists for children back then. Aerobics were in... And to this day I have to work at it if I want to wear slim fit... Armani? Not without dieting! LOL. But anyway, that was funny because Ethiopia has struggled with famine and starvation... Often media reported when I was growing up pictures of very VERY thin people from Ethiopia who were struggling to afford food. The tag in the coat reminded me that they would likely have an easier time with some of these suitcoats... Made in Ethiopia...
I can watch Don Rickles roast celebs over and over and laugh every time! Not for the easily offended, but he had fun with it and always had love in his heart for people.
