Wrong. Phish is close to the top but fall behind GD, Beatles, Floyd, Led Zeppelin and maybe a few others. Also, Jerry wouldn't spit in anyones face no matter what they did.
Here WE GO im not going to say Led Zep is the greatest is totaly unfair for quite a few others how ever take all the led albums until they broke up. now you have to fallow instruction very close. you need 2 pair speakers of at least $700.00 each a head unit and and least a $800 power amp at least 500 true RMS watts . smoke at least 1 whole quality joint sit on the chair . play all 5 albumbs . then play after anything made since 1974 . Here IS another warning unless you had heard 99% of all the bands of mids 60s and early 70s dont come here and say X band from the 90s or even 80s was the best. Pink Floyd is very good how ever they dont have more giant hit songs like led or many other 60s 70s band matter of fact theres prob "on top of my head" 5 or 6 song and thats all i care for Pink. The doors are neither over rated or under rated. The beatles got serius and good the last few years "with drugs help" while you got the stereo AMP warm up play this. jimi hendrix.Deep purple "Made in Japan" . early YES, Allman brother band live at fillmore. Iron Butterfly,The James Gang, Joe Walsh, Alice Cooper nothing after "billion dollar babies" The Who live at leeds and WHOS NEXT,Grand Funk Railroad first 2 albums, i love the rolling stones but most stuff is mild you can skip them. Tommy and the Shondells , early Santana, Jeferson Airplanes, Janis joplin ,"Cream+Blind Faith = Eric Clapton" , Steppen Wolf , Emerson Lake & Palmer. Crosby Stills & Nash& Young ,Neil Young, not as heavy but very effective = The Guess Who, this ARE just SOME samples . And lets not forget bands with 1 or 2 or 3 single hits some are so big they over shadow a band with a complete album. Iron Butterfly = In-a- Gadda -Da -Vida 18 minute single hit blows away a complete album today.
and here is another sad thing about the beatles way before the white album "my favor" they no longer did any live concerts it was all studios. by 1970 hardly any stations play any beatles.
Wait... you need to spend thousands of dollars on a sound system to listen to Zeppelin? I don't think so. No thanks, I don't smoke. There are plenty of albums recorded after 1974 that are better than anything Led Zeppelin ever put out. Zeppelin is overrated, get over it. They're not bad, but they're nothing special. They were just... blah. I listen to plenty of '60s and '70s music. Who cares about "hit" songs? Hit songs mean nothing. Actually, they're overrated, but OK. They were always "good." They got better, just as music in general did, in the late '60s. I own all of Hendrix's studio albums. I have a few Deep Purple albums. I have a couple Yes albums. I have the Allman's Fillmore album. I have Iron Butterfly's first two albums. I have almost every James Gang album. I have a couple Joe Walsh albums. I have every Who album. I have a few Grand Funk albums. I have a few Santana albums. I have a couple Airplane albums. I have a few Janis albums. I have all of Cream's albums. I have Steppenwolf's The Second. I have an ELP album. I have The Guess Who's American Woman. So... what were you trying to prove? Just because I think Zeppelin and the Doors are overrated, you thought I didn't know anything about classic rock? Yes, I've heard it... Well thank you for telling me about music... seeing as I have never heard any before, I'm really glad you could inform me. PS: Haha, I love how you told me to listen to Tommy James and the Shondells and skip the Rolling Stones...
Led Zeppelin were a studio-only band for some time. And, they became a studio band before Revolver came out. Not just for The White Album... they released Sgt Pepper as a studio-only band too. "Sad thing about The Beatles".... do you even know wtf you're talking about? They're only "bad" albums were Yellow Submarine and Let it Be, and those were only bad compared to the rest of their albums... Let it Be would've been a huge success for just about any other band.
Led ZEP HAD TO PLAY TO MAKE A LIVING if anything it was later on when they hardly play here and there for top dollar . early beatles stuff was good but light stuff. 2 i never mention saying anything being bad . 3 i did not say just the white album i said way before the white album they no longer did any live concerts.
I think the best band ever has to be the first humans that got together one day to make noises that sounded good... which later became music.... becuase without them people.... who knows what would have happened.... im sure it would have still come.... but hey... they did it
hmmmm i'd have to say the greatest band of all time has to be Miles Davis' sextet that he made Kind of Blue with. Miles, John Coltrane, Cannonbal Adderly, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb (and on one track Wynton Kelly) made in my opinion the most important album in the history of music. they revolutionized the way music could be, broke the ties of conventional jazz and produced an improvisational music that the Allman Bros. Grateful Dead and all the rest to come would have been helpless without.
In which case it would that kid on the playground making fart sounds with his arm pits. Not to be over looked: belches and gas passing at the dinner table. Holy crap, I was a musical genius and didn't know it. Just got the back of my head smacked until I stopped.
i dont think so = you could be the first guy to fly a airplane but does not mean that today or a few years later you had the best airplane.
