Only one mention of Charlie Watts? and i never even notice John Bonham mentioned. Dam yall are on frickin crack.
i think travis barker is a very talented drummer. HEs not the best but he is the best of the music right now wait dave grohl is good peace chickens
i'm appalled no one has mentioned john bonham yet. holy crap. i agree with chicken lady above me here, travis braker is an amazing drummer. sure, he wasn't in the stones, or zep, or cream, but he's doing alot of things on the skins that people didn't even think to try!!! he's really good. ben gillies from silverchair is great, too. but, i'm sure no one else would hold him as high up there as me.
if there had been a best drummer we would have known it like the "MTV" "fuck the corporate world biaaatch" shit... therez a melon seed between my keyboard keys...
Keith Moon - my personal favorite. hell yes, John Bonham Charlie Watts Ringo ain't bad too hard. cant pick. wait...damn! too late! oh well I made a good choice I'll stick with Moon the Loon he's awesome blossom!
I've bumped into Rikki "Rockett" Ream a few times here in PA. He's a nice guy, I'm not much of a Poison fan... He's playing here tomorrow night opening for Kiss. I think as far as good drumming goes... Guys who can find the pocket and groove: Ringo Charlie Watts Nigel Olsson Guys who took the drums to the forefront of the mix and made you notice them: Ginger Baker Tommy Aldridge John Bonham Technical Drummers: Neil Peart Carter Beauford I think a great "all around" drummer is Matt Abts from Govt. Mule.
i aint good wi the ole names, but i gotta say, beyond any shadow of a doubt, in my mind, the best drummer would be...that dude from sepultura.
Oh my gosh! What does he smell like!???!! And can he get me Brett Michaels in some laceup velvet pants? That would be perfect.
Mitch Mitchell!! Fuckin' awesome drummer. A shame he didn't go on to further famous acts after Hendrix died. Other ones high on my list: Keith Moon John Bonham Bill Bruford (Yes) Steven Drozd (Flaming Lips) - in part, just cuz he crafts most of the Lips' recent music alongside drumming
it's really not a matter of who's better, it's your opinion. it's impossible to determine the best drummer. in that case you would have had to hear everyone that has ever played the insturment. it's not a fair deal. as for who i perfer, i like neil pert.
