I actually wrote a paper on the Legalization of Prostitution back in my freshman year of college English. I have the same view as Lode/Molly/Cate8 (not sure if anyone else felt the same way as them), it should be legalized. It's a victim-less crime, plus legalization would contribute to keeping drugs off the streets and of course provides a safer environment for the working girl/guy to work because of the health regulations and having formal establishments. There are plenty of examples of this in Europe and a few counties in Nevada.
Bonkai: I also feel (speculate) that legalized prostitution could help to lower rape rates. I think that if someone is so sexually frustrated they were going to rape someone, a hooker could maybe change thaT? Im not sure...but I think it is possible.
