As the GP is finding out...well Hollywood's closets are a lot bigger and hide a massive amount of skeletons.
Has there been a single one charged with anything? Weinstein, Ratner, Spacey, Louis CK A single one Is there anyone in the media thats even noticed that?
I agree with VG a little. Not the make up artist part, but (in his early years) possibly an actress he worked with or a film or t.v. set intern he could have pushed his looks and his charm a little too far. He did sell women's shoes and insurance door-to-door. Feeling womens feet..... sorry rambling... I guess maybe the GQ magazine curse could be a factor too.
No it seems like no one in the media noticed that "small detail" It's free to make allegations and join in on the slug fest, bashing who ever, however where I am from action speaks louder than words, and all I hear right now is nothing.
True which surprises me, I honestly thought the whole thing would turn into a lawyers paradiser of lawsuits on both sides
Mountains of data suggest incidence of women lying about sexual assault are exceedingly rare and miles less than unreported assaults. Odds are the accused are guilty and so are many more
I'd like to see that data, and also point out that rarely does people confess to lying about an acusition of something unlawful, which makes sense since that in it's self is illegal. Don't get me wrong here I aint taking no sides, I'm just pointing out that there might be a slight misrepesentation in the media, where at least where I live the often if not always forget to say that someone is accused of some sexual assult, then they tell the story as if the person was already convicted. And I honestly do hope that the whole thing could eventually lead into a debate about what is sexual assult, cause just to mention one of the allegations that I have heard of, though nothing to do with hollywood, just the hashtag meetoo thing, is a woman acusing a co worker of sexual assult because he slept next to her in a hotel room, and in my honest oppion that is sleeping and not assult.
It’s about time the media stopped protecting men perpetrators. A little over correction is long overdue
I have to disagree with that, fair is fair and justice is justice and should be served to those who deserve it NOT every man just for being a man. I also think your view would change on the subject if you had ever been acussed of a crime you didn't commit, be it sexual or not
And I think your view would change if you’d be the one assualted. Women for decades are abused and men are sikent. A few men are accused and now men are champions for justice. That’s the problem
No I can't imagine making that up and I can't for the life of me understand why anybody does that, but that being said I also knew a girl who made up a rape because she regretted having had sex with the dude she had sex with, so it does happen, but hopefully not that often. I guess what I am really trying to get to is that it would be woonderful if the whole public debate was just a bit more nuanced, and that media does play a big role in that matter. And btw. I apologie if my spelling suck, I really have no excuses for that, but I think it is becomming my trademark.
Women do make it up but it’s incredibly rare, way more rare than the general reaction from men warrants. That has perpetuated the culture where women way under report being victimized. For decades the media turned a blind eye on women being serially assaulted. Men are not the victims here
That I do agree with. The real victims are tWomen and men being asasulted but also those who are wrongly acused.
