Who were your ancestors?

    im pretty much 99% german ancestry...

    interesting ppl im related to?
    Im related to that guy dante guy who wrote the book dante's inferno

    my side of the family is mostly Polish - being my dad's side of the family, and my mom's dad... my mom's mom is half Italian and half French. My husband's side of the family is all Irish.

    I don't know much about my genealogy. I can only trace through the women in my family, as they all seem to have had children out of wedlock, at least 5 generations back on both genetic sides...And then there is the fact that I have an adoptive dad and a biological father...Same for my mom, and my dads...What I do know...

    Is that my mother's paternal great great grandfather immigrated from France to Canada. Once there, he settled, married a German immigrant, and had a family. His name was Perine, I think. One of his sons moved to United States, and changed his name to Peery. In that move, they lost all contact. He married an Irish immigrant. Their son married a Cherokee Indian. That was my grandfather (adoptive).
