Dad-Native American (Sioux/Blackfoot) Mom--mostly Irish with a bit of Welsh. The only notable person in my family that I know about is Sir Henry Morgan...governor of Jamaica and before that, a pirate. You know him as the guy on the Captain Morgan rum bottle.

Mom's side (Rubin) can be traced a couple of thousand years back to one of the 12 original jewish tribes, Reuben. IN more modern hisstory, my family went from Italy to Spain, To France, To Germany, to Poland, to Ukraine and Belourus, and then to inner Russia.

Dad was adopted, and was the son of Polish royalty who were murdered during the revolution. So, theoreticly, i can be the hair to the throne of Poland :)

Well,my stuff is packed up to move to Oregon,so I can't quote the book---but I'm a decendant of Daniel Boone--a Hays married one of his daughters-my great grand mother was a Hays, also ,some way to Abe Lincoln's wife,Nancy Hanks and Admiral Dewey, who drove the Spanish out of the Phillipines at Manilla Bay.(my middle name is Dewey)on my mom's side. Also, according to some stuff I looked up on the net, some of my ancestors were responsible for driving the Mormons out of ,I believe Illinois,to Utah.(you're welcome). But the one I like the most is what my Grandma told me when I was a little one. When she was 8 or 9 and lived a few miles south of Lemoore, where she was born in 1884,her parents told her one evening to go to her room and not to come out until the morning. She heard a bunch of horses ride up and some men camped next to the house that night. Some time later, her parents told her it was the Dalton gang from Missouri. That side of my family was from there and the Dalton and James gangs were not scumbag thieves, but heroes fighting the robber barons of the day--especially the railroad bastards.I still have the trunks sitting on my patio, that came out in covered wagons from Missouri.I guess I come by my radicalism legitimately!---------------------------------------------------------------scratcho---------(KC--how are you related to Daniel Boone?)
