I believe it's more than likely the same people who are behind most of the terrorist attacks we have witnessed over the years. To be brief you might simply say it's the government, or rather the people behind the scenes who control the government to meet their own ends, who use Islamist terrorism as an excuse to take away people's liberties and usher in tyrannical legislation that purports to make us safer. Governments and their interlocking intelligence apparatus certainly have the most to gain from instilling such fear in the population, and governments in league with their lapdog media have never had the best track record when it comes to telling the truth. Yet people are likely to believe whatever they hear on the news despite such lies because people are brainwashed from a young age to blindly trust authority. I certainly don't believe a bunch of rag-tag extremists have the ability to pull of such a well coordinated attack, outsmarting intelligence networks with advanced surveillance technology designed to prevent these types of things from happening (or so we are told). I haven't even really begun to look at the events surrounding these recent attacks, but I already have a feeling it's more of the same bullshit we have seen before. It always is.

there is a problem with your idea here concerning the media.
In this day when everyone has a video camera in their pockets with the ability to immediately upload video and audio to the internet or send it privately, all your conspiracies about the media controlling all the information put out and brainwashing people is just plain silly.

IS Claimed responsibility What would they have to gain By Lying ?

 

They could be doing it just to take the credit for it. Not that I think they're lying about this.

 

Terror organizations love to take credit for attacks they didn't make, because it's easier than doing their own attacks.

ISIS was my first guess, but it's early in the investigation.

 

ISIS is the most probable and given that they have enough bad publicity, I do not think they need to seek more.

 

Those who believe War is Peace are the perpetrators . Expect a media-blackout as genocide in the ISIS villages
begins ... or perhaps ? it was couple days ago that neutralization was initiated .

 

But how would it look if they claimed responsibility for it and it was later proved to be someone else ?

They basically have nothing to lose with such a claim. They want us to hate them, also if it's partly because they make ridicilous claims or play the media wether it is with accurate content or not.
