I don't know if this means anything to you but the wisdom of this blessing is in sacrifice, sometimes for our own greater good we need to make sacrifices in life of things that we love.
the rewards of doing this is manifold, although this can't always be seen at the time

I'm sending out blessings of apple

the fruit of the apple tree as a long history of being connected with divination, for example one spell suggests that a young woman should peel an apple and keep the peel complete on Samhain night then throw the peel over her shoulder to spell the intial of her furture husband.
anyone that is reading this will wonder what this has to do with elections, the apple is concerned with vision.
now what we must do, whether we live in America or not, or are happy with the results or not is have a personnal vision for the long term future, not just the next 4 years but a vision that goes far into the future and sees it has bright.
we all have the ability to make the future what we want just by having a long term postive vision

the key here is to connect, connect to spirit but also let go of pain, this is possible but not easy.
however forming a relationship to the ancestors and the spirit world teaches us that nothing ever goes away, things change for sure, but once spirits are with us they are always there even if they are not on this plane.
that which is now spirit that once walked amongst us wishes that you stay connected but also lead a full life as well, living your life to the very fullest is not letting go it honors spirit and everything about it.

you have many talents, even though you may not always admit this to yourself, now is the time to start a career with something you are very good at, that way you plant a strong career, don't be tempted to take any job just for the moment, this is not planting strong roots.

First of all I'd like to say that I had a major life change recently that really scared me, but often its the thought and not the doing it that is most scarey

ok this blessing is very apt this tree is actually the tree of samhain which although the festival as passed, still has a major influence on us now.
it is the blessings of endings, so although you may not feel it you are very blessed and protected at this time.
where there is an ending there is also a new beginning, at some point excitment will probably begin to settle in when it stops being so daunting.
this blessing also advises you to plan and prepare well, before you go, however even if you do read this after you have moved there is still a need to make sure you make sound preparations and plans for your future when you get there, new enterprises need solid foundations, you may feel more lost without this, its just something to bear in mind if your not that brilliant with planning (and often when we are scared we can barry our head in the sand) however Birch is the tree of endings and beginnings so I think things will work out ok for you in the end.
