Is that the same dying as when you do do x and I set the conditions where you will die?

Does my setting the conditions after you do x not me murdering you?

I definitely think that in a court today, they would rightfully jail me for murder.

So did the snake lie? He could have said surely God will not murder you by neglect. Then he would have been wrong and that might have been a lie, but it was not, as God did take the initiative and murdered them.
