knowing your grower would also help prevent this from happening.

i still think you're getting your weed from the wrong people.

also i dont really understand the economics of lacing pot. I dont really know the price of meth or anything but it seems like the extra weight it would add to a bag wouldn't justify the cost of the meth used....maybe not meth, i assume meth is relatively cheap? but heroin definitely....why would anyone add heroin to a bag of pot when they can sell the heroin seperately? it makes no sense.

ive gotten weed from all sorts of people. dont think it really makes much a difference. most the time, you go up the chain far enough, you run into some shady motherfuckers.

only opportunities i've had to get weed off an actual grower, the bastards tried to charge me like 400 an ounce. no thanks. i don't think the majority of people even have that option anyway.

i really have no clue about the economics of it either. im guessing maybe the weed was crap so they added a tiny amount of heroin to give it that "KO" quality.

There are numerous things including god knows how many OTC products that can cause false positives. People who haven't done drugs period in months get false positives all the time. On top of that amphetamines and opiates are water soluble, they're out of your system within 2-4 days, for someone who's only smoking trace amounts on weed it'd be 2 days. Now either you were constantly getting laced weed, you're the unluckiest person in the world and got laced weed the day before you got tested each time or statistically the most likely option, you got a false positive.

When people say weed is laced with dope it's the same as when people say they know of ecstasy laced with dope too. It's not. Like ecstasy is various forms of MDxx, MDMA being the most common known, other synthesis of it will produce a different version, all ecstasy but with slightly different effects, be they more psychedelic, more stimulant, or to go back on topic, more sedating. It's the same with weed, most weed anywhere is a mix of sativia and indica, head high and body high, however on the extreme you can get pure sativia that keeps people awake, gives them a ridiculous head high and has then on the ground laughing, or pure indica that has people knocked out on the couch drool coming of their chin.

No doubt there is laced weed out there somewhere, but it's a very minuscule amount.

    *edit*
The economics in lacing weed is there is none, it literally serves no purpose for the dealer. Drugs are expensive, especially if you're putting drugs on weed. It's a horribly inefficient way to break down most drugs(aside from weed) and requires even more to get an effect. Not to mention most weed dealers only deal with weed.

the high school tests were done while i was smoking weed daily.

the one with my doc was done 1-2 days after smoking this stuff i suspected had heroin in it.

i understand the differences between indica and sativa and this has nothing to do with it. 3 false positives seems kinda high when i haven't been tested a whole hell of a lot of times.

most potheads hear so much bs crap coming from the DARE side that they'll completely block out any possible negatives about weed. use whatever kind of bs logic you want to try to convince yourself that the bud you get off the street is always 100% cannabis but i'm telling you what's really sometimes up. a lot more than pretty much any pothead will admit to themselves either.

i was in a car, smoking heroin laced with with 2 other veteran stoners. i was the only one that noticed. the doctor test confirmed it. chances are you've smoked laced weed at least a handful of times at least and simply not noticed.

as far as x goes. it's even worse. most x has no actual ecstasy in it (mdma). real x is mdma. no other drug in it. but when you buy e on the street, chances are it's mda, caffeine, and a whole buncha crap that feels kinda like mdma but isn't.

i remember they used to have those little testing centers at clubs and raves to get your pills tested for that reason.

now that I think about it, I once bought weed off this one dude and my face went numb when I smoked it. But he was a coke dealer as well and I doubt he was purposely trying to lace the weed; I think he probably placed the bud on a surface that had some residual coke powder or something. it doesn't make any sense for him to put coke in his weed when he makes more money off the coke. He was a shady guy in the first place though; i don't buy weed from people like that at all anymore and i only did when I was younger during desperate times. There is choice, even in the black market. There should be choice in a legitimate market too. I dont want the government controlling my favorite plant 100%. They can place regulations on growers and tax the shit out of it all they want, but I dont like the idea of marijuana being an entirely socialized industry.

haha "what is freebasing? how about crack" since you obviously have no idea i can tell you that smoking cannabis with cocaine on it is in no way freebasing... and crack is entirely different its cocaine cooked with baking soda

"Back in the 70s, adding power cocaine to a joint was fashionable in some circles for a more "active" high. "

its still done today and it really does almost nothing...

and i dont know what your talking about there only being compressed weed in nyc, i can verify that that it is complete bull shit.. i have never even seen brick weed in the city, i only get fluffy chronic

I didn't say it is, but Richard Pryor might have disagreed with you on smoking cocaine.

It's still cocaine and it's smoked.

    Your opinion, not mine.

I said "a place like New York City" and I said nothing about all pot sold in said fictitious city.

I can provide you with links to English tutorials if you need one.

you're probably right about the best option being to make buds a free market enterprise, but without some form of government regulation to ensure the product isn't tainted, many a grower/dealer would probably do shady shit to their nugs to make some extra money.

I once got a bag that was pretty good pot, but I noticed that I was getting pin holes burned in my clothes from the ashes. I got out my magnifying glass and found sand in the buds. No real health problems, probably, but this guy was getting pot prices for sand.

    No one should control Cannabis!

It grows wherever you throw a seed down. It is a Weed that has been around forever and been known medicinally and psychoactively for almost as long.

How dare a government make a part of nature illegal!

And we reap all the bad consequences of that futility (inflated, exhorbitant cost of an otherwise free plant, drug cartels, drug wars, dead ppl all over the place) As Dr. Phil would say about drug laws "How's that been working for you?"

I don't think anyone is wanting the plant itself controlled, just the commercial sale of it. Despite what anyone here wants, when you open a market that has the potential for billions in profits, big business will jump on it.

true, i definitely think there should be regulations. I dont necessarily trust the government to put regulations in effect that truly protects the consumer, however. Look at the tobacco industry.

Corporations WILL get involved in the sale and distribution, which will cause problems if not regulated. We have to "nip it in the bud."

i believe it needs to ether be completely free to roam where ever so we all know what we are smoking. or be controlled by the government so were not smoking added shit that wankers put in to gain weight or too look better!

i dont know scientifically but im assuming all the crap they add to it is what makes people have psychological problems. i doubt all the proper rusters in Jamaica are having anxiety or psycho problems
