The Brighton peir was blatently set fire to by the Palace pier. And the people in 2 Feathers are very nice people, very sociable if not a tad excentic.

I liked Sal's idea of a meet up. We should arange it.

Evening Star for best real ale in town (a little small though), Mrs Fitzherberts? The Saint James? Basketmakers Arms? Prince Albert? The Greys? Cobblers Thumb? Penthouse?

Somewhere with a bit of character surely, a little Spirito de Brighton?... If you're entertaining folk from out of town they don't want to drink in somewhere identical to a pub where they're from... Pav Tav is nasty mix of obnoxious students and pervy old men IMO (I'll concede their beer is cheap though) and the pub has no individuality to it, owned by a national brewery and blahdeblahblahblah...

But what do I know.... I post on here sporadically but would be interested to meet some of you... You can meet the enigmatic weirdo behind the silly internet name thingy... WOOOOO....

Might even be able to point anyone in the direction of anything they might need too [IMG]

Speaking of Brighton Shops, I love Kissing Fish, the furnishings are so pretty and everything is reasonably cheap too, I braught a lovely gold embroidered skirt for £6 the other day, although i can't wear it until the weather improves :(

but a Brighton meetup is a must, although i don't know if i would be allowed as i don't actually LIVE there, just visit it quite a lot lol
