Veggies: Lets just give it up before we grind ourselves down. Nothing very productive comes of these threads, everyone just digs themselves in a little deeper and we eventually end up with a brawl.

Omnis: We respect your views, free country and all. Don't like 'em but will tolerate them. It is however fairly obvious (or at least should be) that pro meat views aren't welcome here. So if you can't understand and respect that then it would be better for all concerned if you left us to it.

Then everyone can kind of be happy.

Takling about the future , cattle unlike crude oil is a renewable resource.On known reserves we have about 50 years' supply of crude oil left.Unless we find more crude oil, one day we will need to go back to having bullock teams to do the heavy work that is currently being done by heavy machinery.Anyone who lives in the developed world has indirectly benefited from cattle.

Over the centuries cattle have done a marvelous job for us.Show a bit of gratitude to them! Did you know in the old days drive belts used in factories were made from leather?
